I have been creating mixed media for around three years now, and it is my creative outlet. I enjoy many different types of art and crafting: ATC's, inchies, and the inchie's big sister the twinchies, matchbox shrines, altered tins, making soldered jewelry, stamped metal jewelry, and needle felting (to name a few). I love participating in swaps because it keeps me busy, and I enjoy the challenge of trying something new! I am a firm believer in not joining a swap if I am not 100% sure I can follow through and complete the swap. I am a perfectionist, and I respect other artist/the host, therefore have not, and would not be late for a swap deadline!

I am 37 years old, and live in the Dallas, TX area. There are three others in my home, only one of whom walks on two legs, and they all arrived this past April. My husband and I got married, and then adopted two dachshunds (our "son" and "daughter") immediately after our honeymoon.

As for what inspires me, I love antique flea markets and browsing Etsy for vintage items. Some out there may say "vintage" means "junk," but not me. Classic vintage exceeds the modern in many ways. I love interior design, and probably spend way too much on eclectic items for my home. It adds interest right?!

Some of my favorite collections include: vintage globes, vintage eclectic items, anything miniature, religious icons (from prayer cards to vintage prayer books, and statues), and souvenir pressed pennies, and Re-ment miniatures (mostly food and other miniatures) and celluloid Cracker Jack charms.That's all I can think of right now, but I am sure I will be adding to the list!!
