About Me

I am an avid knitter, quilter and soapmaker. I have participated in many soap and knitting themed swaps. I have two adult children finally finished with school and working. My daughter still lives with me and our one cat and one dog who really is the King of the House. I work full time as a math staff developer in an innercity K-5 school in NYC. I'm listed in Ravelery and Flicker as Franhaz. I love strong coffee, dark chocolate, natural fibers especially wool blends and relaxing at the beach. My favorite colors are reds, blues,and greens. I usually avoid orange and yellow.

knitting, soapmaking, quilting, redwork,

I enjoy mysteries, biographies, and pretty much anything except Romance.

Response: Was something wrong with the Tea Cozy? I thought it can out nice and I sent extra fat quarters to coordinate with it.

Comment: I wish I could give you 10 hearts. I loved -and I mean loved- the book mark you made! so cute! I had to replace my book mark in my book immediately! The fabric you sent will go well with my 30's fabrics and I plan on using a bit in a scrap quilt I am starting next month. And Trekking yarn is one of my favorites - and I have no blue sock yarn in my stash! What a perfect package! Thank you so much!!! It made my whole day......

OMG!! That coffee was so good. I have been meaning to send you a message and let you know just how much we enjoyed your coffee. Now that it is gone I find myself longing for it!

We made the first pot Christmas morning and it was wonderful. I'll let you know that my boyfriend and i are coffee snobs to the extreme. We have been known to pay $45 for a half pound of coffee and this little find is incredible. I would say it is in my top three for all time favorites. I can not thank you enough for sharing. Can I add 10 more hearts?
