About Me

I am currently living in Northern California (way north). I have a two boys that take up most of my time and attention. They are 6 and 8, so I have my hands full. I try to make 'mommy time' to work on swaps, but it doesn't always happen... I now have a baby girl!! She is the sweetest thing, I cant get enough of pink and ruffles. My time is stretched even thinner now. I am going back to school, working, and settling in to our new house (farm). I have grand plans for my own craft room here. I will swap again!!

Favorite Crafts...

My favorite thing are to crochet, scrapbook, and cook in my crockpot. I am now totally in love with the fabric charms and jelly rolls, now i just need to decide what i want to make with them. I enjoy sewing pieces of fabric together, but have not reached the coveted status of 'quilter' yet. I am also getting adicted to ATCs... I am having fun trying new tequniques... I enjoy trying out new crafty projects...

Favorite Things...

I like to visit micro brewerys... I collect pint glasses, coasters, and other SWAG from breweries... I am a lego-maniac, just call me Zack. Ha ha. I have a whole closet with legos that my kids arnt allowed to play with. I would die and go to heaven if I recieved anything lego from out of the US (or in for that mater)... I love cajun food and franks red hot... Dark chocolate is my weakness, the darker the better... Have you ever had the dark chocolate covered pretzles from trader joes? super yumm...

Favorite Colors...

I tend to lean twards cobalt blue as a staple, I havent ever disliked it... Orange and Red are current favorites I love how vibrant they are... Although I am starting to fall for aqua... The girly girl in me loves pink too... I love blue with yellow (my kitchen & all time favorite combo)... I love blue and brown (my bedroom colors)

Things I Love...

Anything in the mail!!!... Paper Coasters... Weird Metal Things... Anything blue glass... Stars, stars, stars... Western themed things... Dr Seuss themed things... Anything Shaped like the letter A... Legos...

Current Projects...

I am collecting quilt squares in blue and yellow to make a swapbot quilt via swaps...

I love joining quilt block swaps and I seem to fall in love with 98% of the blocks I make, even if they are profile specific for my partner... The thought of them staying unused or in a drawer forever because they are not someones taste is sad... I would rather make you something you can & will use...

Comment: I looked back on my 2012 spreadsheet and I gave you a 5 with a heart IN 2012, so I have no idea why this showed up as a 1 five years later! I certainly didn't do it, so please remove that particular comment about me rating 5 years later (I didn't - in fact, I commented on my spreadsheet that you'd included 8 wine charms for me).
Response: Thank you for updating!! Im not active now, but dont want a 1 to haunt me when I come back!!!! Rating a 1 five years later? I don't even remember this particular swap anymore, but I do know that I never flaked on a swap, ever. This is ridiculous.

Thank you so much for the NFS tag! I too am in love with the old telephones. 5" is great! I can either trim them or can cut 4" circles. I want to do one of each, so 5" really is perfect. Thank you again.
