SO GLAD your wee rattie recovered from her pneumonia dear. That's how we lost Sugar. We spent $1,000 in vet's bills, bought an aquarium to keep her safe (she had no balance so we didn't want her trying to climb) and hand fed her for weeks to try and get her well. DH took it very hard when we lost her. But she was a total joy while we had her. (";)
your comment on my profile was really really uplifting :-) You made me go 'HA' when I read the part about 'how clean is your house'! I watch that show too and then look around thinking my place is not so bad after all. and then I go out to buy lemons and some more salt to clean the shower :-) so I guess we really are pretty much the same!!!
I would love to do a private swap with you, when you find the courage. there are tons of really easy sewing projects to find online. and I love making bags so we'll be fine ;-)
thanks for complimenting me on my English! I do have to say that I have my spellcheck settings on "English" to prevent any dumb mistakes. but I already notice improvements. f.e. I always thought you wrote 'recieve' but now I found out it's supposed to spell receive. But we learn English in school from age 12 and there's a lot of English in our media and on TV.
how are things in Gooseberryland? I didn't know a 'gooseberry' was a real fruit, I thought it was just your smiley face! but they used to grow in my garden growing up! anyway, I hope things are going a lot better in your life, and since my wishes seem so powerful, I am wishing you a fabulous weekend and an amazing summer!!!!
Hi there. I LOVE pet rates! I had one called Sugar and she would watch tv with us in the evenings on the bed. She would help herself to the communal bowl of popcorn by tipping it over. So cute. I see you have pet rats- I love ratties! I've had 7 of them myself (unfortunately I no longer have them as 5 passed on, and 2 were rehomed), and would love to get more once I move into a place that will allow pets.
Your dogs, cat and fish sound lovely as well :) I've always grown up around animals- when I was still living with my mum last year, at the last count we had 9 cats, a yellow lab and 3 rats- all who went to loving homes, except 2 of the rats that passed away and one of my mums cats who sadly passed away in March at her new home. Right now I just have one cat, Demon, who lives with family for the moment since I can't have him at home with me and I refused to give him up. He's fluffy, black and a wee bit retarded.
My boyfriend and I are planning on getting a rescue pup when we move in together, and are considering the possibiliy of puppy walking a future guide dog :) He's also trying to convince me to let him get a bearded dragon- not happening lol! He doesn't know it yet, but I'm going up save up and buy him a pug puppy instead :)
Hey! Just wanted to thank you again for the rainbow rain left on my profile. Much prettier than the ton of rain we are getting here. And, I guess it really did help ease the tension at Canada Post, they've postponed the strike for a second time. =D
