Hello from southeast Pennsylvania in the United States. My name is Jan and I was born to be a grandmother. Fortunately, I have two wonderful grandchildren to enjoy. When I am not spending time with them, I enjoy a little hobby/sport called letterboxing which is hiking with an incentive - a nice little treasure box at the end. I also enjoy spending time at our retirement home in Florida, especially in the winter when it is frigid here in Pennsylvania. Collecting postcards is my newest hobby and I have jumped into it with both feet. I am looking forward to enjoying swaps through this website.

My favorite thing to do in the whole world is spend time with my grandchildren. I have one daughter, a grandson who is seven and a granddaughter who is three. Because my daughter is blind, I think I get to spend more time with my favorite short people than a lot of grandmothers do. My daughter needs more help than a lot of young mothers so I am get to be very involved in all of their lives.

Types of cards that I prefer: US State Capital Buildings; US State Emblems - flowers, trees, etc; Professional football and baseball stadiums; All scenery and landscapes; People and places typical of where you live; Native flowers, animals, bugs; Mapcards; US Presidential Libraries.

Types of cards that I dislike: Hello Kitty and any cutesy type cards

I do not like my cards in an envelope, please stamp and write on the card when sending.
