My name's Rachel and I love getting mail and sending it! I like to read historical fiction and some mysteries, write (of course), animals (elephants are my favorite. Two of my favorite colors are purple and green but I like them on the pastel side. I'm aspiring to do some serious homemaking when I move out of my parent's house. I enjoying cooking and baking and even have a few recipes that I've created myself. I'm a Renaissance faire freak. I'm one that dressed up to go. I'm majoring in Anthropology in college. I adore German culture and even speak/read/write some German.
I listen to a variety of music which includes; The Struts, The Darkness, Red Hot Chili Peppers, classic rock, Eiffel 65,
I read mostly historical fiction, fantasy, and a few mysteries. A few of my favorite books are The Sookie Stackhouse series, The Cat Who... books, The Dark Tower Series, and The Dead Travel Fast by Dianna Raybourn.
I can sew, knit, and crochet. Out of the three I like to sew and crochet the most. I've recently discovered papercrafting and am having fun with it. My favorite thing is to make postcards.
Xena, Strange Empire, Warehouse 13, Glee, Destination Truth, Raising Hope, I liked Ghost Hunters in the early days, along with a variety of cooking shows. Good Eats anyone?
Anything with peanut butter and chocolate. My dream candy to try is chocolate covered potato chips. I'm not a fan of sugar based candy such as Twizzlerz. Chocolate PLEASE!
