The account @kerrlouise22 is not me and has nothing to do with me. I have contacted admin for advice about this inactive user. I have heard swap coordinators have been told it's my account but it is not. I'm very upset about this and hope this issue can be resolved soon. I believe the confusion is because my given name is the same as that username. If anyone has any concerns please contact me and I can put you in contact with people who've known me since my childhood and people I've swapped with long term via Postcrossing and Instagram. Thank you.
Update 4th December 2018 - Finally linked my Instagram to Swapbot (it's completely snailmail/craft)
Update 21st November 2018 – I’ve updated my profile to be a bit more reader-friendly (I felt like it was overly complicated to read!)
26th November 2018 - I am now beginning to receive a lot of swaps from here. It is great and I am enjoying it a lot. I rate on the day I receive and will always leave a comment. Please ensure you clearly write the swap name on your swap to me and if it is a similar name to other swaps include the host (I am in several Christmas postcard swaps with very similar names). Thanks!
9th November 2018 - Received my very first type 2 swap!
Edited my profile to include a more defined wishlist and dislikes list as I have seen on other profiles this helps with certain swaps :)
My first few Swapbot swaps prior to shipping (above images).
Hey there!
My name’s Louise, 25, and I’m from England. I was born and live in northeast of England, studied in Leeds and spent a year in Leipzig, Germay. I studied German and Management at university and now work as a Sales Coordinator for an international company. I can speak fluent German and I have been learning Japanese for a number of years. I am now taking an evening course.
I heard about Swapbot from @kochijapan who I have swapped with a few times on Instagram. I joined Postcrossing in 2013 whilst living in Germany and joined Instagram in 2016 where I do the majority of my swapping. You can find me on Instagram under the username letheine1. I have a lot of spare craft and snail mail supplies and Swapbot seems like a great place to put them to good use. I have participated in swaps for postcards, parcels, chaincards, stamps, flipbooks, etc.
I have split my profile into sections below to help you find the information you need for specific swaps.
I hope to learn more about the Swapbot community and meet people through swaps!
Best wishes,
Louise
I prefer my postcards naked (written and stamped). I do not collect handmade postcards (unless I’m in a swap that specifically is for handmade postcards). I have been collecting postcards since 2013 and have a collection in excess of 1000 cards. I mainly collect illustration postcards, gotochi from Japan, otter cards, geisha/maiko cards (both illustrated and photographic) and fantasy (mythology and folklore). I collect Christmas cards during November/December.
I do not collect handmade postcards, but if you wish to make one that matches my likes then I would be very happy to receive it or if we are in a swap that requires it
My favourite book series is by English author Jody Taylor 'The Chronicles of St Mary's'. It's a really good read if you enjoy futuristic but funny and serious stories. The main character constantly has bad luck!
At the moment I am reading non-fiction books about Japan specifically about Gion and the lives of Geisha. I am considering studying a Masters degree in Japanese Studies.
I have started to draw mail art on envelopes incorporating seasonal designs or profile-based designs. I am using promarkers and glitter glue. I’m having a lot of fun doing this as I’ve never been confident at drawing without planning out first. If you like to do mailart I would love to receive some. I keep all my special envelopes.
I have tried my hand at many different hobbies and crafting techniques. I began cardmaking with my mum about 12 years ago. I enjoy making decoupage cards the most, but I’ve also done iris-folding, embossing, shaker cards, etc. I have done scrapbooking before – but I prefer to only do scrapbooks for specific occasions (i.e. big holidays). I can knit and I am working on a rainbow-coloured lace shawl at the moment. I cannot crochet, but I have always wanted to learn so I could make amigurumi dolls. I can hand sew and machine sew. I have created 4 costumes over the last year and a half and I learnt to use the sewing machine by creating a very large quilt. I have done some smaller quilts since and am working on a few at the moment. I can also cross-stitch, but I find it very time consuming. I like to do photography when I have the time. Since August 2018 I have been keeping a journal (I use a Leuchtturm 1917). I keep my thoughts written down, keep lists, write out inspirational quotes/poems, reflect on the week, write notes about topics of interest, etc. I would like to write a book one day, but I never seem to find the time to write.
I love washi tape. My favourite types are watercolour, scene tapes, floral and colourful. To be honest I think I like most washi.
UK shoe size 8-9 (fit most adult socks 4-8)
Hot chocolate (prefer this over tea but no nut flavours as I can't have them)
Beads (6mm and smaller)
Christmas ornaments (store-bought or handmade with love) I like all materials for ornaments - wooden, glass, metal, fabric...I like both traditional and unusual modern ornaments (like the Christmas llamas, dinosaurs, other things but good quality not tacky please). If there's a particular ornament specific to your country then I'd love to receive that.
Decorations (non-festive i.e. something to hang in my room)
Anything to do with otters
Rilakkuma plushies
Rilakkuma items
Sailor Moon items
Crystals
Cinnamon-flavoured items (without nuts or seeds)
Galaxy-themed items, items with foil on them
Fantasy craft items (unicorns, fairies, etc)
Moon-themed items
Illustration postcards (anime, freelance artist cards)
Halloren Kugel Schokolade aus Halle (Kirschgeschmack oder Originell)
Enamel pins related to my likes (esp. Sailor Moon)
Brush pens (such as Tombow, Ecoline)
Wax for wax seals
Handmade tags @thebragal sent me some amazing handmade unicorn tags)
Extremely fine-tip pens (they are so hard to find!)
Hand-dyed yarn
Steampunk/gothic/fantasy items
Sci-fi (specifically Star Wars, Star Trek, post-apocolyptic)
Zodiac postage stamps
Inspirational quote rubber stamps
Game-related items (Final Fantasy, Nier Automata, Horizon Zero Dawn, Warframe)
Things I’d prefer not to receive
Anything containing sesame, nuts or seeds (allergic to sesame and intolerant to nuts and seeds) Nothing vanilla-flavoured or scented Bubblegum/chewing gum Coffee Bad quality washi/plastic tape
Unless I am participating in a swap that has food items as a requirement please do not send me food items. I am quite fussy with food and I had an eating issue in the past that I have recently been dealing with again. I'll only take part in food swaps where the type of food being sent is something I'll eat. I cannot eat anything with sesame, nuts or seeds in.
Sending items - I mark my swaps as sent when I have either put them in the mailbox or handed them to a postal clerk. My understanding is that postal clerk workers are not meant to cancel the stamps on the envelopes/parcels (aka date stamp them). This is done when they go to the postal sorting office, which is normally the day after. I like to send swaps early.
Rating - I have quickly got into the habit of rating on the day I receive items from swaps. I will always rate fairly. If I have not rated you yet it is likely that I have not received your swap. Please message me in that case.
Thank you!

Haha yes, the red nose stayed glittery during transit! Yay!
And I've eaten the Fudge bar. It was good - and totally different from anything in the USA!
@MSturgill87 and I have discussed the recent events regarding me being falsely accused of having an old account
I've deleted our private swap due to being alerted that this is a double profile. If you were to merge the profiles and fix your poor ratings from before, we could talk about swapping. Good luck.
