Favorite Music

I enjoy music of all varieties. I particularly enjoy 90s and 2000s alt rock. I listen to a lot of house and EDM, Pop, R&B, anything but country really. It's my least favorite genre.

Favorite Crafts

I enjoy doodling and making mixed media art. I like making jewelry, clothing, or upcycling things into household items.

Favorite Television

I gave up watching television a couple of years ago so that I could try to have more time to read, learn, and be creative, but I used to enjoy a variety of shows. Some of my favorites were, That 70s Show, Lost, Dexter, Shameless, among others.

Favorite Movies

Huge Tim Burton fan and I love kids movies, even though I gave up watching television a while back I still enjoy watching old faves like Nightmare Before Christmas, The Lorax, or Addams Family from time to time with the kids.

Favorite Books

My favorite authors are: V.C. Andrews Chuck Palahniuk Patricia McCormick

Fav. Books: the perks of being a wallflower, go ask alice, silverkiss, dicey's song

About Me

My name is Brittany. I live with my boyfriend and two daughters ages 9 and 4. We have 2 cats and 1 dog. We love doing outdoor stuff together: hiking, biking, walking, kayaking, etc. I love to write poetry, sing, and do anything crafty. I worked in the financial industry for many years, but took some time off to try to build my freelance career and learn more about stock trading while finishing my bachelor's degree in Marketing. I haven't been active on swap-bot in a while, but look forward to getting my kids involved with projects now that they're both more interested in crafts and a little less wild.

Comment: ETA: Thank you for the resend. Much better I’m sorry to have to rate this way and I will rerate if I get a resend. The ATC sent was a plain brown backing with a brown polka dot mini envelope and a very small brown wax seal which was incomplete and messy. This isn’t a proper ATC as there is no art involved. The hostess saw the ATC and agrees.

Comment: Truly one is reminded when they say "the best gifts come in small packages". Brittany, I could'nt even open the package as i could not get over the beauty of your envelope. The outside was stunning, opening the envelope even revealed more special tucked in surprises that left me in happy smiles. Hi Brittany! Well, we have very little in common. LOL Part of that would be because I'm old enough to be your Grandma (gasp!). 8-p

I've been to the Nashville/Hermitage area and enjoy that part of the US. I have a sister and nieces a little farther East of you near Sevierville.

I am an ATC Addict!! They are just a great way to express creativity. It's amazing what can be done with a 2.5" X 3.5" of card stock and a few embellishments. I really enjoy doing vintage themes myself. I would love to send you a "goodie bag" of ribbons, embellishments etc. Please PM me if you are interested.

I haven't read any of the books that you list as your favorites, but I am an avid reader and I'm going to put them on my list to read!

I love making bracelets and I made a bunch of hemp bracelets earlier this summer.

You are brave to be a horror movie lover! I get scared at an intense scene in a thriller! I just can't do horror. I'm a scaredy-pants! Ha-Ha

Hello!

ATCs can indeed become quite addictive. I did them a while back and it was so much fun to decorate them :)

I always liked to use old book pages or newspaper pages with foreign text and color them with ink ^^
