Independent and dreamy individual who likes building castles in the air. I live practically on wet wipes and zip-log bags. I know I should be considering more eco-friendly alternatives. I give piano lessons from home and indulge in my creative pursuits during leisure. I am happily living with my partner of 9 yrs with no intention of having any kids. Have no trouble whipping delectable dishes and gratefully oblige fulfilling the occasional birthday cake orders from time to time.

I check my letter box on weekdays (Mon - Fri).
After appreciating the swaps I received, I rate them on the same day.
I VALUE the responsibility of sending & rating promptly very seriously.
I do international swaps, pls allow min. 3 - 4 weeks for my swaps to reach you.
If I have not rate you after a reasonable time has lapsed, that means I have not receive your swap.
I prefer not to chase for in-coming swaps as it's DULY the responsibility of ALL senders to ensure their partners receive their swaps.
I am more than happy to resolve matters amicably if delays are genuine. Parcels, letters, postcards could be lost during mail transitions and we need to learn to live with such glitches don't we... =)
I mail ALL my swaps via Airmail. I mail most (except naked postcards...) Type 2 & 3 as Registered Articles for tracking purposes & proof of postage. I also take photos of all my swaps before mailing them out.
I have swap parcels returned to me labelled Unclaimed! Truly a waste of precious time & resources! I have taken the effort to send by registered mail. Kindly do your little bit by collecting from your postoffice if the postal guy came knocking, you happened not to be in and was left a note to do so. Thank you so much!
If you are mailing your swaps via Surface Mail to me... it would be nice if you let me know so that I may then expect a longer delivery time-frame and not think your swap got lost in transition.
Communication is the KEY. It always baffles me why some swappers choose not to reply to their E-mails/PMs. Else they take much much much longer to respond when obviously they have been online and read their messages. Simply take 2 minutes or less of your time to respond... and most matters get resolved real quickly. Thank you!
I treat people with respect and courtesy. Appreciate the same from you too. :D
I mail out ALL my swaps! l'll make sure I have time before joining any swaps. :)
For other Mail, RAKs & Tags: If you were to send me happy mail (not swaps!) & I have not thank you on your Comments Wall (after a reasonable time has passed...), that would only mean that I never got them at all. I am always grateful & will definitely drop a thank you note acknowledging any mail received. =D
