I enjoy making envelopes, sending and decorating postcards, and creating mail art.
My all-time favorites are related to art, nature/landscapes, woodland animals, architecture, cryptids, food/drink, kawaii, transportation (planes, buses, metro/subway, trains and train stations, bikes), vintage, gotochi cards, odd/unusual, homemade, and postal-related themes.
I also really enjoy seeing decorations, stickers, fun postage stamps, rubber stamps, drawings, or simple silly doodles added to the postcard.
Handmade items and crafty touches: Envelopes, cards, zines, mini pocket letters, folios, flipbooks, tags, bookmarks, doodles, drawings, collage, stamping, etc.
Decorated envelopes
Unused postage stamps
Vintage (used or unused) stamps for my collection.
Stationery sets, note cards, post cards, glassine envelopes, big homemade envelopes for mailing, stickers, washi, and embellishments.
Any and all Sanrio and San-X (my all-time favorites are Sumikkogurashi, Gudetama, and Tuxedo Sam)
Kawaii, anything and everything
I really like Kumamon, Miffy, Pokemon, Tokidoki, Totoro/Studio Ghibli, Jetoy. I'm also a huge fan of Grimace (the purple guy) from McDonald's. I love to see little drawings of Grimace on or in a swap and add them in my magpie journal.
Herbal teas and caffeine-free teas of all type. Hot cocoa packets. Candy: Tootsie rolls, fruit-flavored tic tacs, Arctic grape icebreakers gum, and Japanese milk candy or salt milk candy!
Botanical or nature or woodland animals or rock/crystal/mineral themed items; space, the moon, and stars. My favorite flowers are tulips, and ginkgo is my favorite tree. I love dried and pressed flowers and plants of all types! My favorite birds are crows and ravens.
Air mail stickers and postal ephemera from all over the world.
I've been writing letters and sending mail ever since I learned how to write, and checking the mailbox became one of the highlights of my day. My most prized possessions in my early years were my Lisa Frank letter-writing set, pink pens, unicorn rubber stamps, and Sanrio stickers.
At the moment (2023) I play a lot of Pokemon Go. I think it's so much fun and I've played on and off since it was introduced. if you share your trainer code with me in a swap I'll send you in-game gifts! :)
If you don't receive a swap from me or if there's an issue, please reach out to me directly so I can make it right.
Right now, my top three of 2023 are:
Currently watching: The Only Murders in the Building.

Hi my friend! Thank you thank you for the beautiful beautiful galaxy happy mail! I love it! I have my reply coming asap!
The Happy Mail you sent arrived today and it certainly made me happy. I love what you sent and your kind words. I hope we get to be swap partners again. THANK YOU!!!
Thank you so very much for the birdy Themed Envelope tag! Love all the generous goodies!! Made me smile today!
I forgot to mention in a swap I'm sending to you that in my teens I had a purple long sleeve and high necked dress that my brother always called my Grimace dress. I wish I could find a photo to show you - you'd totally see it. It never deterred me from wearing it! 🟣👗
Thank you so much for the Kawaii sheets. I had never seen the envelope before and the other memo. I can't wait to use them! And I love the Capybara sheet and card. Love it. Thanks again!
welcome to Sunshine swaps!
Plastic is perfect for washi tape. I use empty gift cards and hope that people will reuse them. Lately I've found many paper gift cards with glossy paper on the outside. They are stiffer than playing cards so they are easy when wrapping samples.
