Hi! My name is Leila, I'm 44 years old, and have a 7 year old son, Draven. He is all boy and keeps me on my toes!
I am with the love of my life. He and I were engaged, split up for 14 years, and then came back around to each other and re-kindled our love. ❤️
I’m a full-time artist, and make my living painting and illustrating. My work is inspired by traditional tattoo design and Mexican folk art.
I have one cat, Saki, and a Corgi named Edward. I am an animal lover!
I am a thrift shop junkie and I have several “collections”, lol.
I'm all for homesteading and classic pastimes. I love using my sewing machine, but am still a newbie and learning! I take a lot of pleasure from being outside and the natural world. I enjoy writing and receiving letters. I love reading, but have discovered that I can listen to audio books and paint at the same time. It's perfect for me! :)
I enjoy collecting folk and traditional art from around the world, my home is very eclectic and I surround myself with items that inspire me. I'm a bit of a non-conformist, and enjoy the unusual.
My favorite time is Fall/Winter here in Texas. I love that first cool day in October, and look forward to Halloween through New Year's. I love the Holiday season! I am just looking for a reason to celebrate, life is good! ;)

Happy Birthday!
to a whole new year of Profile-Based Swaps!
Hello and welcome to GWE! You have a lovely profile and I enjoyed reading it. We share some passions, too. Feel free to join any of the swaps we have up, or to leave feedback in our group forum. We also do a WTA every month. :)
Re: Make Up Kid's Fill My Stocking 2015
I'm FINALLY getting to post this today. Ethan thought the jumbo glue stick was "awesome!" And he liked the matchbox too. Thanks again for angeling this for him.
I couldn't wait any longer....I opened up your gift from WIYM June Stocking Stuffer and I am floored over with happiness. A cute little squirrel figurine. I immediately put it on my shelf. Thank-you so much. You are so very thoughtful. Merry Christmas! --Michelle
Thank you for showing me that swap ! I totally missed it. :)
Thank you for the Puss in Boots PC from the M/L/FT April WTA. I love that illustration.
Thank you so much for the AWESOME note cards you sent for THE OTHERWORLD WTA#3-owls. The artwork, YOUR artwork is amazing!!
Hi, thanks for stopping by :) Yes Elfquest is incredible!! I was so in love with Longbow... sigh
I already talked with @jaythegreenling about this, she's a fellow Elfquest lover from Germany. We thought we'd do an ATC series about Elfquest, like one Wolfrider, one Glider, etc... As soon as we settle things I could tell and include you if you like :)
Have a great day, Daniela
