{ HELLO } from New Zealand!
Update April 2017 Wow, hey everyone! I haven't been on here since late last year. I've lost my mojo and it's not fair of me to participate in swaps without putting love into them so I'm taking a break. I will be back someday though, hopefully sooner rather than later.
I’m easy going, fun loving and a little bit rebellious! I swear {too much}, laugh at my own jokes and say whatever is on my mind. I have a broad sense of humor and nothing much offends me. I am a walking contradiction, both introverted and extroverted – needing people and solitude both equally. I like being busy but also enjoy having nothing to do and nowhere to go.
I have a 5 year old daughter named Stella who makes me laugh, love, learn and drives me a little crazy every day.
{ THINGS I LIKE } ♥ Pink, gold, teal/aqua, yellow, black, white, grey. ♥ I’m a self-proclaimed foodie and have a major sweet tooth! I love cooking, baking, eating, reading reviews and menus etc. ♥ Stationary and general paper craft supplies! I could get lost for hours in these shops ♥ Quotes! They can explain things perfectly, sometimes better than you could yourself. ♥Lists – and ticking things off my lists! Knowing I’m making progress. ♥Journaling cards, things for my journal/creative diaries ♥Washi tape ♥Favourite flavours would be coconut, vanilla, peppermint, ginger and caramel. ♥ Weekend adventures – doing something fun, adventurous, driving somewhere new, going to farmers markets, eating out, visiting new parks, creating memories! ♥ Fat Mum Slim and Constance Hall (favourite bloggers and all round awesome ladies!)
{ CRAFTY INTERESTS } I think I've always been quite a creative person. I was always colouring in and making things when I was younger. I remember receiving a decorated box full of all new art and craft stuff for my 9th birthday and to this day I still think it was one of the best presents ever! I like most paper crafts, writing, scrapbooking, project life journaling, doodling/zentangling
I have almost always kept a diary of some sort. I still have most of them now and love reading back on my 8 year old self.
My journal at the moment is a bit of everything - a planner, bullet journal, smash book, diary, notebook. I tend to dedicate a page or so to each month and write about special dates, things I've done, things I need to do, food I'm eating, what I'm loving, what I'm listening too etc and between the months is a bunch of random things, lists, ticket stubs, things I'm loving, washi tape samples, journalling cards and prompts, receipts, random doodles, practicing my typography - all sorts. It's what works for me! And I can write in it whenever I want or have the time too without the pressure of having dates I need to fill in and empty spaces.
{ NOTE } Please be aware that I live in New Zealand and while I will always send my items by the due date (unless otherwise communicated) it may take a bit longer to reach you with distances between us.
In the event that my swap hasn't reached you in the expected time frame please ask me about it, I always make note of when I send my items and generally take photos of them just before they're sent. Aside from bad ratings, I would truly be so guttered if something I had put time and effort into had been lost in transit and not made its way to you.♥♥♥
I endeavour to rate my items/mail as soon as they're received, sometimes I open my mail straight away but other times I'll leave it for a few days so I have something to look forward too. In the off chance that I have somehow missed rating you please let me know!
