Comment: Thank you for the lovely baby swan drawing - you are quite talented! I like the delicate color scheme. I also happened to draw a baby swan for my waterfowl as well. I think they're cute despite the whole "ugly duckling" thing! Also enjoyed that dragon stamp on the envelope :) It's nice to swap with someone new & I hope to swap again someday!

It made me wonder what I would include if I had to depict my neighbourhood because Vancouver, as a city, has too much stuff in it. What would be relevant? Eh. If you could rename Claire the loon, what would you name her?
Response: I'm not sure... maybe something a little more hometown, like Tillie, or Maple like a tree? I think Claire is a fine name, but it's just so unoriginal for a loon, haha.

When I was working I would sometimes keep a book in my locker to read at lunch and one at home, but sometimes I would start mixing the story lines together in my mind. My friend has been over helping me organize things and she forbade me to buy any more books until I read half of the ones I have. I bought another book today. She'll never notice, will she? Response: Once I read through your profile, I knew that's what I would draw. It's from the Kingdom Of Landover series by Terry Brooks. They're Comedy/Fantasy books about a buisness man who finds an ad in the paper about a magical kingdom for sale... He figures it's a joke, but that he's got a ton of money and he hates his life... so he buys it. And it turns out to not be a joke. They're great books if you like that kind of thing. Great humor and 'eye rolling' moments in them. I think the Black Unicorn is the 2nd or 3rd in the series... thank you so much for the heart!
