There must be primary teachers out there in swap-bot land. Introduce your kids to the wonderful world of swapping with this letter/ small item swap. If you're a class parent, mention it to your child's wonderful teacher. Swap a classroom letter (done whole group--teacher dictated so it is readable on large chart paper) and a class set of small items with another k-3rd grade classroom (22-30 depending on how many students in your partner's class... please e-mail them to check). Make sure the items are all the same (or else mayhem will result... you know what I mean, teachers)! Some examples are 25 small fancy erasers, 25 funky pencils, 25 bookmarks, whatever. Please do not spend OVER a dollar per item. Browse the dollar stores for ideas or make them yourself. This will be a fun way to start the year and learn about another school, city or country. The focus is on swapping as a class, not individual swapping. International teachers are very welcome. Swappers who have no sends will not be allowed to participate... sorry, but we don't want any broken-hearted kids. | |
