I TRULY LONG for a swap partner who is going to put some sort of effort into swapping. Now is your time to shine! Have fun with it, PLEASE be creative, and send with your heart. PLEASE!
I don’t know why people always send a letter about death, surgeries, or other sadness when this is supposed to be Happy Mail. PLEASE DON’T! We are all going through hardships right now. Like you, I would prefer a little distraction from life's struggles and we need this swap for Happy Vibes so please do not send sad news. But feel free to include a HAPPY little note about something good in your life.
Somehow am I ALWAYS partnered with people who find a reason to send their items LATE??? Are you that person too? I will have nothing nice to say about it on your Rating Review no matter what the reason, because I'm tired of it.
Try decorating your mailing envelope! It makes it more exciting to open the mailbox. Mail swapping is supposed to be a change from the typical white envelopes that you usually find. Make your swap stand out from all the dreadful bills.
This shouldn’t be that difficult 😞
It’s as simple as this:
_ _ _ _ _ _ QUICK REFERENCE OF LIKES _ _ _ _
I love realistic looking things like honey bees, sparrows and robins perched on a branch, butterflies, and I love anything with real looking roses.
I absolutely love anything with big bows. And I love love love leopard print.
I am a Siamese cat fanatic! But I also enjoy any unique cat item.
And here's a fun idea that I got from a friend... If you've read this far in my profile, my favorite number is 14. 🔺🔺🔺So here’s a fun Challenge for you: Try to incorporate the number 14 in your Happy Mail that you send to me. Let me see who is creative! Simply writing the number 14 down is mundane. Try including 14 paper clips, wrapping a ribbon around 14 times, write in large print so that your letter ends up being 14 pages long, attach 14 brads, use a tiny shaped hole punch 14 times in your stationary. Think outside the box! That's what this swap is all about!! Creativity, kindness, and Happiness is key to winning my heart
I love BOLD fun contrasting colors!! Such as playful black polka dots dancing on a yellow or pink background. Or big black and white stripes pared with bright pink roses. Pop! Wow!
Speaking of Wow, leopard print is to die for! Dark and mysterious. Pare that with Blingy rhinestones and I am so hooked!
I also love that clean whitewashed farmhouse style too. Refreshing! Clean!
Don't forget about my favorite number 14.Think about how you can include 14 into your swap. Don't just write the number on a card. Here's your opportunity to be creative! Use your imagination and challenge yourself.
PLEASE please please do not send me things like: - bits of scrap paper that was left over from a craft project. - your old unwanted note cards or post cards. - Sadly, I've even witnessed people send stickers cut up from a sheet where they took the ones they wanted from it then sent the cut outs of the ones you didn’t want. I can't believe people send stuff like this in these swaps. I find it mean and I will definitely say so in your Rate review. - If you are the type of Sender that just joined these swaps to get rid of your trash, Shame will follow.
On a Lighter Note.......
I am in need of glass or crystal beads for some craft projects that I'm working on - Thank You in advance
rub on transfers are very fun to me
bows bows bows! I absolutely love Bows!!!
I do collect Vintage looking Keys and I could use some help with my collection
Die cuts and Stickers: I prefer realistic looking things, not abstract, cartoon, watercolor. I love things that are real looking like Vintage people, flowers, bees, and perched birds.
lace or tulle samples are always needed at least 14 inches please
I'd really love to read an encouraging letter from you, please nothing sad. There's too much sadness around me.
I'd love to see how you like decorate your envelopes
I love various shaped paperclips and bulb pins and if you know how to decorate them, I'll cherish that even more!
show me your own artistic style, hand made items warm my heart. What do you like to make?
Do you have any Charms? Maybe 14 of them?
I love receiving a variety of unique fruit flavored teas and rich flavored coffee mixes. I'd really love to receive a handmade paper folded tea pocket that maybe you learned from a tutorial on YouTube.
I'd really like to receive keychains (I guess to go with my Key collection). Fuzzy ones are the best!
I love Roses but oddly not the scent of roses
I do use rubber stamps and acrylic stamps.
14 Buttons are flat, light weight and easy to send for little to no additional postage and it would make me giggle to see what neat variety that you sent
I'm always in need of metal cutting dies, used is fine.
don't forget to use the number 14 in your swap somewhere!!! Do not just write it somewhere. Have fun with this challenge and use your imagination.
Ok so here it goes. Here's my final rant. Keep in mind I've been doing swaps for many many years when most people were excited to share a fun mail swapping experience. Lately it seems people just use this website to get rid of things that they don't want. Please don't be angry for my honesty. But if you do any of the following things, you will not like the Rating and Review that I leave on you.
When something is sent without CARE it shows and I don't think that deserves a good rate at all.
I would rather receive something that you made from the heart, than receive a left over item from your junk pile that was just shoved in the envelope to give to the next victim who doesn't want it.
I really really really Dislike receiving pointless scraps of paper. There's no Heart or thought behind it. It confuses and upsets me. Sorry but it's true.
if your profile has a list of ABC Likes, your swap partner may have a difficult time finding the right gift for you. Example: someone might list "Candles" under the letter C. Well I can't very well send you a candle. So what do I do, send you a picture of a candle????
I'm part of many swap groups, please make sure to state which group you're sending from. If I don't know what I received from which group, I can't give you the credit you deserve for what you sent.
misspelling your recipient's name is considered extremely RUDE!
PLEASE do not send scrap pieces of unwanted paper. Instead, make something out of it. Show me your creativity.
Always make your Swap worth your time and effort. Don't commit to these swaps or even this website your heart is not into.
To my swap partner; If I believe we might have something in common, I may include an S.A.S.E. with your package to stay connected with you. If you do not know what an S.A.S.E. is then just throw it away. But if you do know what it is and you would like to get more Happy Mail ...Yay! We are now friends!!
. . . . . .
See you at the mailbox!
