I live in the wonderful state of Alaska. I enjoy many different crafts, currently I am working on print making and book binding. I sew and quilt, make a little jewelry, and try almost anything new that strikes my fancy. My favorite areas are paper crafts (not card making or scrapbooks) and sewing. I have just started a blog (I am slowly figuring it out) to share what I am doing and keep myself motivated.

My favorite music is Christian and female vocalists.

Most of the tv, movies and books I read are SciFi/Fantasy related. I like the simple diversion. I also tend to collect art/craft books from many disciplines. I love to learn new techniques and written instructions with pictures works best for me.

I collect recyclable paper and old books for my binders and journals. I love vintage sewing notions, tools and fabric. I love old picture books, catalogs, advertising, business forms and so on.... I also like nature related graphics and some very bold graphics. I like rubber stamps that add to the art work but are not the main focus. I prefer art work (cards, ATCs, books, mail art etc.)made from old or original works, not frilly, or cookie cutter supplies that are widely available. I am also looking for felt, hand dyed threads, felted wool and roving for small dolls I make for my grandchildren. I like the colors of fall, golds and browns and oranges but I also love the colors of a spring garden, shades of blue/green/floral colors. I love watercolor art and subtle collage.

Anything dirty, smokey or covered in animal hair. Old does not mean dirty. I am not a writer, I appreciate occasional cards and postcards but not many. I don't care for cutesy stuff like Hello Kitty or Disney characters. I have no children at home.
