I am a retiree, I love to grow flowers, mainly in pots as the bending over to weed is getting too hard now.
I love to sew, knit, read, cook, paint, crochet, and any other craft I see that I haven't tried yet.
my favorite colors are sage green, apricot, pink burgundy, brown.
I collect farm figures and small farm related items for display in my kitchen, I also have dragonfly objects in one bath and frogs in another. I love bracelets but never wear earrings. they make me feel funny. ha ha
I have two old tom cats, They are lazy and fat.
but lots of company.they help with the yarn when I am knitting.or crocheting. LOL
I like to try new recipes, but cooking for one can be hard at times.
I have 5 grown children, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren..
My dislikes include, plastic canvas, licorce, and anything with cherry flavoring.
I love to paint scenery, especially old barns and things of the past. I have been painting on slate from old roofs lately. Interesting pieces from old barns usually.
I also love to read, I love mysteries, romance, and just about anything else. I trade my books to other readers when I finish,I belong to a swapping group on the internet, and send out 3-4 books a week. I usually read 2-4 books a week. find new authors that way.
I like to watch comedy movies and watch tv.I must admit I do like the reality shows , such as big brother, and survivor, also like to watch the cooking shows. I like to knit while watching tv, do lots of scarves, and baby blankets and such, keeps my fingers nimble. I like to sew, tote bags, baby embroidered quilts, and have been thinking of doing some dolls again, I like to have a variety of things for the craft shows during the holidays. I recently took some crochet classes, and love it.
II like to go to baseball games, Go Indians!!

We DO have a lot in common! I love old barns, too, but I take photos of them instead of painting them. And I love reading and sewing, too. Very cool!
Hi Marcia! I got my gloves yesterday and they are BEAUTIFUL! The first pair was very pretty, but these are just outstanding! I love the new pattern you used. Thank you again for making these for me and I'm glad that you're feeling better. Continue to get better. <3 Naomi
