I've been quilting for over 13 years and am looking forward to doing my 1st sampler quilt still. I'm even interested in English Paper Piecing and am taking on my first project. My favorite colors are burgundy and all purples.

My Mother taught me to sew when I was in grade school for 4-H. I've been competing in Parish and state fairs every since in sewing and canning.

FAVORITE AUTHOR: Jennifer Chiaverini... author of Elm Creek quilt series.... I also enjoy John Grisham's writing.

FAVORITE MOVIE: Tombstone is definitely at the top of the list! I must add that I love me some Madea!!! Tyler Perry's rendition reminds me of some of the strong women that have been in my family and passed on.

FAVORITE DECOR: I love the classic country decor. You know what they say, you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl! Never a truer statement! My latest addition is a set of fern dishes in the kitchen.

FAVORITE ANIMAL: I use to have horses but I have become quite the dog person. Somehow I have become the one all of my family calls about their dog issues. I have trained a service dog in the past and currently have a 63 pound pit bull that thinks he's a lap dog! Lol

OTHER HOBBIES: Hunting, canning, sewing, limited knitting but I'm not a scrap booker!
