About Me

About Me I work as an art therapist with adults who are mentally ill. I enjoy the opportunity to share my talents by supporting the people I work with in exploring their creativity.

I'm married (20+ years). We have two beautiful children, a girl (16), and a boy (13). I also have two cats, a grey tabby and a flame point.

I love all colors with the exception of teal with moss green and aubergine being my favorite. I collect coffee cups from places I have visited and frogs. I love nature and natural things.

I enjoy science fiction fantasy conventions, Radiolab, and the social sciences.

For exercise I walk four days a week with a friend.

Favorite Music: Not Jazz.

Favorite Movies: Stardust, Pride & Prejudice, and Arranged.

Favorite Television: Firefly, Sherlock, and Doctor Who.

Favorite Crafts: Knitting, beading, and art of all kinds.

I am always interested in learning new artistic techniques whether that applies to knitting, beading, or any form of creative endeavor.

Comment: Your cards are beautiful. I absolutely love the painting and collage techniques you used. Did you hand write them? I love that font! I agree with you that Abe Lincoln quote is my new favorite. I had never heard it before and is resonating exactly with the outlook I've been finding a challenge to achieve. I am really going to make that my motto now. Thanks for the great art.
