I had already rated it - just so it wasn’t delayed or anything, but oh my goodness this was one of the most beautifully put together swaps I’ve received so far you are so talented at making envelopes and putting together swap/packages, thank you so much it really did make my day! I’ve been having a pretty bad week as my daughter has been dealing with medical issues for the last week and a half- we’re better now but seriously this was so well put together and I can tell you truly put so much into it! Also: so jealous of your penmanship, lol.

I'm glad you liked everything I sent you in the swap. I have a generous penpal/swapper who is also Canadian and usually sends me beautiful extras. I just can't use them up, even with the most creative journal or mail art. So I'm paying them forward by sharing her abundance. Only for those who I think would use them, of course.

I received another Christmas card with tea from you - which I'm very thankful for 💖, but I couldn't find another swap for it, so you might have sent it twice by accident?! ...but to answer your question what a Bavarian does on Christmas in NZ, being a bit nostalgic I guess. I do bake a lot of Christmas cookies, like me and my Mom did when I was little. It's rainy and grey today, which give a little Christmas vibe for me, but it is super humid. Lots of love and Happy Holidays from the South Island 🎄

I'm glad the swap got to you safely. I quite enjoy the lychee black tea myself but to manage expectations, it will smell strongly of lychee (which I enjoy) and it will taste like regular black tea. So it's more like a treat to nose and tastebuds. =) Enjoy!
