Comment: I received your letter today and I have to say, it was such a pleasant surprise! Everyone is so good at sending pretty, fun letters and I learn a new tip or idea every time I receive a swap. I think I'm going to go buy smaller denomination postage so I can do something similar in the future - I absolutely loved the assortment of stamps on your envelope. The peacock was a nice extra :) I loved the handwritten recipe. I need to work on my handwriting so I can write something this pretty, I don't handwrite as often now that everything is done on the computer, but that makes it a little bit extra special when I get a handwritten letter. We will definitely try this recipe soon. Thanks for sharing a little bit of you and your life with us!

Comment: I received your postcard dates 15 March, likely the first one. Thank you for your lovely note. I remember mango season in India! I'd go to the cart on the corner and buy a couple of mangos everyday and they were always perfectly ripe. I never go to know the varieties. The man selling bananas taught me his varieties, with the help of my friends who translated between my English and his Tamil. At first I was self conscious about discussing the health of my bowels and then learned that's what was done. I would love to live in India again.
