Response: Oh! Sure. I sketched up the letters and then doodled in around to fill all the space with an artline pen, then I scanned it and plopped it into Photoshop for colours. Then I got it printed at my fave print on demand place and there we go! I'm so glad you liked the swap and the card. Have a lovely day :D

I was never a fan, though I do like chocolate, nougat, and almonds. I always preferred other chocolate bars (like our Milky Ways! * haha *) :-) Thank you for sharing!

I have a prickly pear cactus tattoo and it's in a pot :) it was my first and still my favorite tat. I have seen Ringu, but a few years ago, I think it's worth a rewatch at this point. A cool piece of ephemera I found recently was an old bookmark inside of a book I bought, it's so beautiful and special to me because I found it after I brought it home. Response: Ah thank you! And I hope you like the damper. I forget if I wrote it, but one way to cook it traditionally is with the dough wrapped around a stick, over the campfire... when it's cooked, you slide it off the stick and there's a hole perfect for filling with jam or butter!

I am a crocheter and a knitter, so I know what you mean about making mistakes in knitting. ha ha I usually get 4o rows done and then find I dropped a stitch in row 2. and I will not be satisfied till I pull it out down to the mistake. Even if no one else sees it, I know it is there. I also use Ravelry, great site isn't it.? So happy to have a Australia partner. My oldest son spent time there while he was in Air Force, he loved it there, and the friendly people. He said if he didn't live in U.S. he would like to live there.Thanks again, Marcia.

I especially adore the koi and I think I'm going to send the parrot to a parrot-crazy friend of mine, if that's ok? - I know it will make him very happy. I really need to get back into lino - I haven't done it for absolutely years but I love it. Did you use lino-cutting tools or a craft knife for the rubber stamps? I can't believe how finely done they are - or how adorable pusheen is! Oh, and thank you for the lovely letter and beautiful envelope - everything was fabulous (although the postman did bend it to fit it through my small letterbox... sigh... but no real harm was done) <3

We don't have geckos here. Once on a vacation there where a lot. Also inside our cabin. I didn't know what they where and if they where dangerous. All I saw was a miniature dinosaure. Luckily our host told us they where harmless 😀

Also, can I assume your use of the term "Prime Material" means you are a DnD player? Last week, we just started out in our first campaign since we were teenagers. Which was... a very long time ago :)

I have played DnD, but the setting this character is from is called Aetolia, and it calls it the Prime Material as well- probably borrowed from DnD honestly, everything else takes from it! And I don't know if you'd be able to find it in shops, but if you can get ground cardamom and cinnamon you can make your own easy enough. There's plenty of recipes around online!

I especially love the one you wrote your letter on which was watermelon seemed as that is one of my very favorite things. I just cut open watermelon number 5 for the season last night for part of my supper. The stickers were cute. And the postcards are just so clever and I will enjoy using them as well as admiring the dirty pictures. It was so fun to hear from you again. I hope that we have a long and lasting friendships through the mail. I did want you to know that your package arrived open. Not really sure what happened but the post office had to put it in another envelope. So I don't know if it was originally sealed or not but it appears that nothing has fallen out and was all intact when I did receive it. I am sure it got snagged on one of the cancellation machines. Just telling you so that maybe you'll use a little more tape when sending such a big packet. You are correct in saying that mail to and from another country can be slow and have best it is difficult. A little patience that is all it really takes and I am one of those persons and I am extremely grateful for all that you have sent.
Response: Gah, that is the second one of my envelopes to get ruinated! So strange, as there wasn't anything hanging off of it, and I made sure the tabs and all were nice and taped down. Maybe they wanted a looksee inside? Customs does that sometimes here. Ah well though, yes, time to thoroughly embalm everything in tape I guess! I'm glad it all got there alright, anyhow. I'll drop you a PM with a digital copy of the watermelon one so you can have it to print yourself :)

I've not heard of the Butter Mint, and I think I've only seen the Australian Afternoon online. And the Stash peach tea looks delish! Thanks for sending! I also am going to check out the book series you recommended - sounds like something I'd really like! Thanks!
Response: It works both ways, I think, as there's some twinings and liptons they don't sell here in Australia. I sure wish there was more variety, but most of the fancier brands here sell pyramid teabags that don't have a paper wrapper- no good for mail. And I hope you enjoy the reading! Have a nice day :)

I always want to buy charity cards because I imagine someone giving them with good intent - not to mention they're usually really cute - but I really hate to send other people cards that don't look store bought.
