No rooster…but you actually don’t need one for eggs !! We have 10 chickens and over the winter we’ve gotten 6-9 eggs a day, in the summer we will get more :)

Comment: Holy cow Kaitlyn! Your package was absolutely stuffed with delightful goodies! My daughter and I squealed throughout opening it, which took so long, since, like I said, it was stuffed! You were so generous :D We were delightfully surprised with BTS photos, you were too sweet getting those for us (our faves!). But also, there was so much nostalgia for my daughter in so many of the items you sent. Plus for me also, as we used to have a Cafe Bene out here, but it closed down at the beginning of the pandemic and we miss it greatly and you sent so many Cafe Bene items!!!! I do not even know where to start, with all of the book pages, memorabilia, postcards, stickers, business cards, prints, paper, cut-outs, not to mention all of the cute envies/pockets that you so adorably made. Response: I'm so relieved you like the flipbook. I took me forever, because I kept making mistakes or doing something I didn't like, and kept making changes and adding to it. But I think it turned out well! I just wish the designs on the unicorn paper were more visible. Anyway, I had fun making it! Glad you liked my other handmade things. I love making things from paper. And of COURSE I had to include something for the kitties! My cats love pompoms (the nice quality ones), so I thought your might too! I'll have to include some snacks next time!

Look at the picture on the swap and perhaps go to the selvageblog.blogspot.com. A selvage is the very outside edge of a piece of fabric where the writing is. I will send you a selvage postcard tomorrow. They are fun to make but if you are only starting out sewing you may not have a collection of selvages. Keep on sewing, it's fun.

Just one little note -- if a letter is thicker than 1/4 inch it is considered non-machineable, and you need to add an extra 20 cents postage. (I learned this when one of my envelopes came back!) My wonderful mailman paid the extra postage so it didn't have to be returned, but I thought you might want to know with regard to future mailings.) Again, thanks so much, and happy swapping!

The Envelope actually was repackaged by the post since it was ripped so you might want to use tape on the corners if you send a letter on a long way again so your lovley things doesn't get lost^^
