12/17/11 - Sorry everyone. Life has been crazy, and I have been working a lot of overtime. I will be trying to get caught up on all swaps this week. I am very sorry.

I am a crazy, busy, married, crafting mother. My husband and I have 4 children between us. I have one daughter (9), and he has two daughters (13 & 9) and one son (11), and it is a crazy house when we are all together. Especially when you add the pets (Catahoula Puppy, Leopard Gecko, Snapping Turtle, and a full saltwater tank with too many things to count).

By day I work for an online retailer, doing embroidery (you buy a bag or baby blanket, I put the name on it) and run our apparel & accessories division. I love what I do.

By night, I like to make things, search blogs and things online, and tend to my kiddo and fur baby.

I love all baby animals, nature and daydreaming. My mind is always racing with new ideas and crazy ideas.

Favorite Music

I love all types of music, but not country or rap. My taste is very ecletic, jumping from modern pop, to classical to hard rock to zydeco.

Favorite Crafts

My passion is doing things with my hands. I have an obsession with machines embroidery and yarn. I can barely knit or crochet, but yarn draws me in.

I love paper, specifically origami. I like fun patterns and colors.

I can't draw or do anything realistic looking, so I tend to draw abstract things. I am fascinated with shapes and colors.

I love the idea of baking and cooking, and making candy. My next endeavor is homemade marshmallows. :)

Favorite Colors

I love all shades of purple. With pink, blues, and silvers :)

I also like my occasional primary color.

Collections

I collect junk.... well my husband thinks so. I don't like to get rid of anything in the rare occasion I can upcycle it into something else.

I love monkeys and turtles, daisies and lilacs, beads and fabric.

I just checked out your Etsy shop, and I think your Harry Potter Themed items are a great idea! I'd love to learn how to embroider, but my hands are already full with my little Etsy Shop!
