I appoligize to everyone who is waiting for your dotee swaps. I've had a really hard month. My significant other had open heart surgery and is now home. I had to place my mother of 88 and she is now doing better. Working and helping had put me farther behind than I had planned. I plan to spend this week getting to everyone who is owed a swap. This is the first time I've been online for weeks. Thanks for your patience.
June 4, 2008 Update to Swappers. I am behind on a few swaps. My mother who is 88 has been ill and I'm taking care of her. I should be caught up in about a week and rest assured, you will have your swap ASAP. I would never let you down, but I may be late. Thanks for your patience and understanding. :-)

I am a BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR. I work full time for a school district. I'm divorced, have 1 married daughter and a great son-in-law. I love hunting finds in thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets. I love quilting, crafting and just about everything because I love living.

Favorite Music

I love all music. Well with the exception of hard rock.

Favorite Books

I read a lot of technical manuals at work so when it comes to reading, I prefer looking at magazines in my spare time. I love country living, cottage style, ME Home Companion and sometimes Martha Stewarts Living. But when I have any time to really read, I love a good romance novel!

Favorite Movies

Jane Austin Movies, Bridges of Madison County, American President, An Affair to Remember, Murphy's Romance, Cheyenne Autumn and any Hallmark movie

Favorite Television

Reba (she is so funny!),HGTV, Food Network, History Channel, Antique Roadshow,

Favorite Crafts

I love quilting, embroidery and just about any crafting when I have time. Minatures and doll houses. Dotee Dolls may become my new craft of choice.

Things I love

  1. I love PINK, seafoam green and white. Shabby chic and Mary Engelbreit.

  2. Feed sacks and feed sack material.

  3. Vintage hankies, especially with red, pink and green colors.

  4. Vintage buttons.

  5. Small charms, old keys, vintage jewelery pieces.

  6. Dark chocolate.

  7. Vanilla scented anything.

  8. Grandma's favorite recipes and vintage cookbooklets.

  9. Vintage christmas ornaments and santa.

  10. Shabby chic, flea market finds.
