The newspaper in New Bern, NC just had a huge front page article along with a picture of Nicholas Sparks and his wife getting a divorce. I didn't think it should have been so overblown, but it was. Comment: My grandparents lived in Akron for many years and my mom grew up there too. As a child I'd spend part of my summer in Ohio. My grandparents would often take us to Amish Country- my sister and I were obsessed with apple butter and peanut butter whip and would buy jars of it to bring home! Comment: I am truly sorry for not rating you until now. You sent a wonderful package. I loved the fold up purple bag and the purple material. Heck I love it all. You are A plus swapper my dear. I had been in the hospital for over a week and a half. I had to have surgery. They went and strapped me into the cat scan machine and put me half under and then I was on my side the they numbed my neck and put a wire in the mass and took the pictures. Then rushed me to the OR and removed the mass. I had a small one removed a couple years ago but this one was deeper near the spine. And then I had a hard time breathing and they thought I had a blood clot in my lung. But, they took care it. Thank you again for swapping.

I remember my kids complaining because they had no time to read. Now they have their degrees and are working well. Comment: Very nice card, thank you. My husband use to haul logs not as big as this I doubt! He will get a kick out of this card.
Response: I lived near Roseburg Oregon, well known as the timber capital. These loads with only one log were not common, but the loggers who had them would wait till just before dark to bring them out of the woods, as by then the scales were usually closed and they could sneak by without having to be weighed.( and fined for having a overweight load. Then they would park their truck in a lot such as a big grocery store has, so they could get them in the mill as soon as it opened in the morning. sneaky little devils. LOL

Response: I used to live in a little town called Tenmile, It was named for the distance from the last stagecoach stop, back when they ran. Strange the names of some of the small towns isn't it?

Response: so glad it got there in one piece. ha ha I made one for my grandson of Sponge bob, I hit the car door with it as I got out of the car, and smashed it to tiny pieces. I made a new ornament for each of my children as they grew up. Then gave them the box of ornaments to take to their new home when they moved out for their first christmas tree. I try to date them, it is fun watching them remembering when they received each one. LOL

Response: glad you liked it, I love to sew. I did a baby quilt and the browns were left overs, a friend of my daughter's wanted a cow quilt for his first baby, in browns and cordinating colors. Brown happens to be one of my favorite colors too. I would love to correspond with you, You could teach me how to do some of the things on swap-bot . I keep busy doing crafts and reading, but could always use another friend.

Comment: What a fabulous package I received in the mail today! The fairy is so FABULOUS!!! I can hardly wait to frame it and place it on the wall. I know Sage will love it. The scarf is soooo me. In the fall and winter, I wear one every day. The beading makes it very special. Love the little ghost. I am already anxious for fall and Halloween.
