Comment: Eric--as usual these are wonderfully done ATCs! Thank you very much! I would LOVE to pet a lion or tiger just once in my life--at 65 I suspect that childhood dream may never be fulfilled! But one never knows what's ahead. I'd also love to see Australia--another long-time dream which still may happen. My hubby isn't big on travel, so if I have to go alone then I'll do it! I've not been out of the US except twice to go fishing on Lake of the Woods in Canada. I love being able to read the French labels on items we purchased there! I can still read it fairly well, but taking the last class was back in 1970 so I'm doing pretty well. Perhaps I need to add France to my list of wishes to make me buff up my French and see some beauty of art and the country!

Comment: Thanks very much for these ATCs! I love the background papers and would love to know where you found the jelly fish images---or are they part of the paper? The stamped (?) iguana is perfect on the background paper--I glad you kept that simplicity since the creature becomes the entire focus of the card. Anything added would seem distracting to me--I love layers of vintage ephemera usually, but in this case less is more! The postcard and notecard will be put to good use soon!
Response: Thank you for the rating. The jelly fish is coming from an old book with nice illustrations of sea life. I scanned it and integrated it in my ATC. The background is made of several vintage paper textures that I merged using Photoshop. The Iguana is coming from the same book, but I modified the image so that it looks like a rubber stamp image.

Comment: What wonderful ATCs, Eric--very creative ideas for things beginning with C and D. I especially like the border around the dragons and would love to know how you did it. I'm always looking for new techniques to try. Actually, both cards have lovely backgrounds. If you don't mind sharing, would you let me know how you did them? Thanks again for beautiful ATCs!
Response: Thank you for the rating. In fact both ATC have been made on computer and then printed. The background is made by merging seevral "grunge" pictures using tool like Photoshop until I get the desired effect. FOr this I use pitures that I have taken from wall, trees, all sort of backrgound pictures than I modify and merge with Photoshop. Glad you like them.
