Comment: Thank you for the postcard! It has travelled quite a bit in the year it’s been around, hasn’t it! I’ve sent it back home now. Thank you also for the extra postcards! A pity that the swap was sent 3 days late without prior communication. (And this doesn’t seem to be a postal problem because you dated your entry on the travelling postcard ‘20/10/14’ and wrote ‘apologies for the slightly tardy send’ in the accompanying note to me.)

Comment: While I appreciate the extras you sent, this swap was sent out almost 2 weeks late (postmark is 20/10/14), without any notification, but marked sent the day after the due date. Please make sure not to mark sent until it is sent, and do be sure to let your partners know if you're sending out late. I would have understood, if you just let me know, before the due date. Also, the swap calls for a description of EACH book. I suggest for next time you do write them down as you go along and give your thoughts for each book, even ones in series.
Response: I dont really want to respond to this, but apparently i have to explain recent 3s in order to try and join certain swaps. I put this swap in the work post a day after the swap closed. I explained and apologised to my partner on a card included in the swap that i was sorry it was a bit late but it had taken longer to write up than expected. I marked it as sent the day i put it through the postroom. As a way of additional apology i read through my partners profile where it said that they liked notebooks so i included one as an extra. Clearly there was an issue with the work post as my other partner only just received her swap as well. In response to the series comment the minimum books required is three, I read a few series this quarter where my individusl reviews would have been more or less repeated for every book so i reviewed the series as a whole mainly to reduce writing up and also prevent boredom for the reader, however there were still 7 reviews in more detail than was required. If my partner had messaged me that she was dissappointed with something, i would have endeaved to make amends, perhaps sending individual more detailed reviews book by book.

I have read several books by David Baldacci and Stephen Cannell and really liked them. I bought the "witch" series by Debra Geary on my kindle but haven't started them yet - will do so now with your recommendation. :-)

Some of our books were set in the same or nearby locations (e.g. Chicago), but I haven't read any of the books you read (although I've read Percy Jackson with my youngest son, and once had Eleanor & Park from the library....)
