Comment: This was my favorite swap I've ever received! I got a notification from the post office that I needed to come in and pick up a package because it was too big for my box. Ok, now I'm curious because I couldn't think what in the world it could be. I purchased a lot online recently, but everything should be ok fr the box. The clerk handed me this box and my first thought was "What in the world?... It's SO HEAVY!" Of course I opened it in the parking lot. I brought out a couple of true crime books first. SWEET! This is great! Then a little haunted doll. You cannot convince me that this little cloth demon hasn't eaten a thousand souls. (She now lives on my dashboard of my car, but will go in my craft room eventually. She hasn't told me her name yet) Then I brought out the cassette player? What the actual fu...? I cackled in the parking lot of this busy-azz post office reading your letter (which was a gift in itself for sure!). Thank you! Fun story: I put the cassette player in the garage, which is the second most popular hang-out spot in our house. It's full of cool stuff, but it's also the spot for family and friends to fix all that is broken. The Boyfriend picks up the cassette player and says "What is this?" He is director of engineering of an international IT company, and knows dang well WHAT it is... he was actually questioning WHY this 40 year old techno-dinosaur is in his garage... My daughter pipes up, 'It's a charcouterie board!" I looked at her and started laughing. "Or maybe an ashtray?" I said "No, definitely not an ashtray. Maybe a terrarium though" He just looked at us like we grew tentacles out of our ears and then shook his head and walked away. Thank you so much! This was excellant!

Sugar (sucrose) is a killer, I read the two books by David Gillespie (Sweet Poison and the quit plan) and it helped, but I know I need to re-read them. The stickers you got with the Amazon Haul package (pillows, croissant, etc.) were truly awful, I'm glad you got rid of them on your letter page to me. Who designs this rubbish!? haha. Comment: I love the postcard. The train at Opryland holds fun memories for me. We took our daughter there in 1995, and she told us that when she grew up, she was going to live in Nashville. And she does. She has been there since 2009. It was so sad when the closed Opryland. We loved going there.

I took my mom to the doctor today for a follow-up and the receptionist was telling me they've seen an increase in COVID cases this summer. Most people don't even know they have it. Again - crazy! 5 years ago we would have been quarantined!
