I am of the age where my grade school reports were done on a typewriter but by the time I was in junior high we had a computer. Makes me feel like a queen. Then I open it! Again, WOW! A gorgeous card that's fit for at least a princess. Inside three teas! I've never had any of them. One is with chocolate (priceless)! Comment: WOW! What a wonderful pocket letter. Love the background paper pastel print and then all the great details and goodies! Cactus is like a foreign subject to me. I did see some when I visited my sister in Arizona years back but living in North Dakota-don't see many cacti except for the ones inside. My doctor's receptionist has an air plant on her desk-I think it's a kind of cactus -interesting! Loved all the stamps you put on the envelope and the nice letter. Comment: I love the beautiful pocket letter you made and would never guess that you are new at it! I have never seen a pocket with the wood/woodlike paper with the clips on it like that before. I really like that! I enjoyed reading your letter and how lucky you are to be married to someone who can make sushi! ...anything for that matter! Haha! I'm guessing he does most of the cooking? LUCKY! I think my style is floral & colorful. My mother always told me I was 1/2 German & 1/2 Polish, so yes, my DNA results were very surprising! You should do it, It's really fun! Comment: I got your pocket letter today and was totally blown away. It is so beautiful!! And I wasn't expecting to receive something so quickly either. I just started pocket letters, and yes we are late to the party. They seem to have been invented sometime around 2015, but I wasn't swapping at that time due to money issues. I am glad there are still some people swapping them. To answer your question about fall in Ohio, it really depends on the year. Lately it has been hot (it was 90 degrees this week) and when it is hot the leaves just turn brown so I expect we will have a bad year. Thank you for joining my swap. Oh yes, also my kitchen table is a complete mess with craft stuff. Glad I am not the only one!

I really don't have a stationery source - I just pickup goodies at thrift stores and yard sales when I can, sometimes are better than others - sigh! I agree that my favorite place to be is anywhere my family is! They just make it that much more fun! I have been to Vegas twice and enjoyed it each time! Comment: I love the post card. My grandpa was a Pearl Harbor survivor and my other grandpa served on the first aircraft carrier so this was very special to me.
