Comment: I loved your olive green gelli print! I bought a gelli plate last fall, but I didn't have a chance to use it because of my mom's health crisis.
Well, she lives with me now, and she loved your card. So I showed her my plate, and we're going to do some gelli printing this summer. Thanks for inspiring us both! She's very artistic and creative, and I've been looking for ways to get her involved in artsy stuff as her health improves!
Response: Oh thank you! I'm crazy about gelli printing - and once you get going you will print and print! The nice thing is that you can use things like copy paper and deli paper and any type of acrylic paint you have on hand!

Response: Yes! I used an Avery 8164 Shipping Label I picked up at Austin Creative Reuse - they always have labels!
I made a little template in Microsoft Publisher to print on index cards - I'm glad you like it! I've been designing calling cards/business cards for myself since I got a pager back in high school!

I'm definitely a crafter, NOT an artist. I have dabbled in a lot of mediums and enjoyed them all. But art is beyond me. I keep thinking there's a little artist hiding inside me, but it won't come out to play. I stick to paper crafts mostly now. ATC's. Glue, books, that kind of thing. Low energy activities.
