Response: Living within the wild is a true blessing that many of us cannot routinely experience. We have, squirrel, raccoon, pigeons, coyote and rare sightings of rabbot and possum, but none of the majestic creatures from way up there. Comment: It only arrived today! You put a lot of work into it, but your artistic efforts made it very difficult to make out the address , and the zip code was in the totally wrong spot. The address needs to be clearly separated from the message and without the interesting embellishments or your card may not make it through the system—at least here in the US. The zip code needs to be on the bottom right hand side beneath the name or abbreviation for the state. Machines read the information. Thank you. I do appreciate your flair. The piece does have many notable attributes!

I have not been there yet but some of my father’s close friends are asking us to visit there but we never had the chance because of covid before. Hopefully, I can since I am now graduating. I have heard that you can meet a lot of Filipinos in Canada anywhere you go! To be honest, I have not heard of Maria Fe Pullon, but I’ll definitely ask my parents. I am thinking she was one of the indie singers during my parents’ time. I was born in 2001. I get your feeling that you should leave your wallet during festivals haha. I also love thrifting. There are many good stores especially in Baguio City (it is a must visit!!). Every nightmarkets in Baguio has thrift stores. You can also find good finds and branded items there. My mum doesn’t like thrifting before but she does now because she found a real hermes tableware set for only Php 2000. I also thrifted branded items there for less than 1000 pesos. Which was March 23, 2008 though and I found surfing through internet, looking for a site that swaps. I wish I had found it before 2008 though. But what a way for you to find out about swap-bot, via the post office you managed. My mother also managed a post office in the 90's. Pretty cool! Thank you again for sharing. Esp. About where you live in Toronto. Fascinating! I've been to Canada twice to the New Brunswick area. Including Quebec. I loved it so much!

Comment: LOVE this swap, Oni! I was already hyped when I saw all the cute bug stamps you got in canada! then I opened the envelope and realized it was a used calandar page! Thought I was the only one who had thought of that! it's very pretty, this is a keeper/display-er. I opened the 'when you need a clip' letter and put it on my favorite ATC card to better display it at my work station! so cute! then I opened 'when you want to see some creepy crawlies.' I gasped out loud at the AUSTRALIA FROG STAMP ! That's the best thing i've EVER SEEN. USPS is putting out frog stamps soon and i'm bawling. I don't usually get excited over things like this but WOW. The little vintage german animal cards are good and coool, too, and the other stamps. I'm going to open the 'when you're feeling japanese' one, next, but I'm saving it! I like how you spelled my name out in Japanese: I think about this often! Usually when I'm feeling high-weeb, I translate my name from the hebrew to japanese, lol. then translate the meaning of my last name to japanese:
船乗り or 船員 which google says is pronounced similarly to how we say it in English.You letters are so creative and mysterious! I can't wait to open the rest, but I'm going to limit myself to one per week for now on! thanks Oni!

Response: When I was little, we had poodles (mainly because I had allergies), so we visited the groomer often. Our groomer was gay, and he loved flamboyancy. He was always welcoming to our dogs, because he could do the whole show dog grooming bit, with puffs and poufs and ribbons, pom poms...I loved it! He was quite an artist :) Poodles have always been a favorite breed for me ever since. Thank you for the Heart and for Hosting this great swap!!

Comment: Omg...first of all, I love that you put a Mean Girls quote on it. I was reading it and my brain tried to process it as a Beatles song, haha! As for the Courthouse, it's Lovely, but the photo is under lit and does the architecture no justice.
