I was very surprised by the generous amount of memo sheets you included, the little fuzzy lace design sticker! (You're right, I did enjoy that! (: ), I LOVE the postcards you included, the mushroom one being my favorite! The puffy sticker sheet!!! All the kitty things you included! I also adored going through each envelope as they got smaller, and adored the tiny little envelope with the stamps!! You have no idea how much those came in handy! I ran out of stamps at the last minute and those two saved me (:

Really thank you so so much :) I was reading your card and you made me curious about that u.k tea and I took it from the bag, smelled and thought yeh, what is that? Then I saw you wrote its smoky tea and I got it what was that smell. To be honest I was afraid to taste it, but I did. Well tea smell so bad for me and taste also bad :D So I also will be one of those people for who this tea too strong and smoky :D But thank you, that was so interesting to try something completely different than just simple green or black tea :) I loved your package!!

I saw it in my mailbox, all colourful with the stamps, and I'm pretty sure I squealed because the receptionist looked at me weirdly :P I had so so much fun going through all the things you sent me, from your great letter (by the way, I loved "The Seed"!), the stamps, the ephemera, the pamphlets and booklets and newspaper and magazine, the notecards and photos and postcards, the books (which I can't wait to start reading - they look so interesting!), the tea, the vegetarian cookbook (which is perfect for me, as I'm often in a rush whilst making meals!), and all the extra goodies - wow!!! To say that I was pleasantly surprised would be a big understatement. Thank you so much for the awesome swap, Jessa, it was a real pleasure! :)

Comment: Hi Jessa! I agree that the tea bags from Israel are pretty neat. So is the card featuring the artwork of Hopi children. Watching the Super Bowl was like being the mother of the Williams sisters playing in a Grand Slam final: it broke my heart to see the Steelers lose at the same time it thrilled me to see the Packers win. (I had to root for the Packers though because that's my teenage son's team!) I love the 44 cent stamp you used, what series is that from? Would be great if I can pick some up at the post office.
