Response: I LOVE when journals are full and get to make it home :) glad that this one finally made it to you after two weeks...
Response: awww...glad you liked her! i love that little tiny seahorse...seemed just perfect to be her snug pal at bed time! i wasn't sure i could make a bendy doll small enough to fit in a matchbox, but she did with just enough room for some bedding and a buddy. :)
Response: i added the wings just for you :) i noticed your comment on the swap page! and when your mermaid doesn't need wings, she can loan them to another of your fairy dolls!
Response: sorry i sent that journal back to you this round! i didn't realize my other partner was artstamper and i didn't want to send her journal to her!
Response: :) thanks! it was a great art to do while watching tv. (and i had to do two journals this round, so a VERY similar one went into your journal, too!!)
Response: glad you liked it! we have fun taking pictures of the birds in the yard - my (almost) 5 year old is always asking what is at the feeder and has started identifying some birds (robins and cardinals are the easy ones). Then she asks if I'm going to get my camera! haha!!
Response: thanks! my daughter kept trying to convince me to let her keep both of them! i told her we had lots more flowers and we could make her more (she already has about 10!)
Response: which is waaay too many times!! hopefully, we'll stay in this spot for awhile :)
Response: When you said Cold Spring I thought I had been there before, but we went camping at Cold River...then I looked up Belchertown and haha, not near each other!!
Response: i know! my old journal has been missing for over a year, so it's nice to have one back in rotation :)
Response: i have the time traveler's wife out from the library (and renewed it) but have yet to read it. Maybe if i start it now, and it's as good as everyone says, i'll get through it before it's due back!!
Response: i have that book from the library right now but haven't started it. I've already renewed it once, so I really should get on it!!
Response: haha, too funny!
Response: yay! My printer color is waay off, but for those cards it didn't seem to matter :) heehee. I printed out a bunch for myself too to try and use up ink.
Response: are happy faces lawn ornaments?! that would be a cool thing to find on your lawn...until it's time to mow, i guess!
Response: i just sent you my card that I got back in the last round and can you believe i just received ANOTHER one of my cards?! I wonder how often that happens! crazy.
Response: i'm thinking i should make myself one!
Response: ooh, what book is it? how do like it so far? i
Response: wow! i can't believe how fast it got to you!! Not even two days to get cross-country! I love seeing your work in all the journals!!
Response: yay! glad it made it to you safely!
Response: about two days after going through my stash looking for frog fabric (my mom's FAV) to send to you, I found about 15 MORE scrap patterns. Sigh. At least it's sort of organized now!
Response: i know! this will be the 3rd spread you have in it!!
Response: seems like the south has gotten a lot of cold weather this year, but i'm a northerner so i'm thinking this is nothing compared to a normal new england winter :) but when we decide to move back north, it's going to be a long, cold adjustment. I'll try to send some 50 degree weather your way!
Response: thanks! that means a lot coming from you...i have enjoyed your art in all the journals i've seen so far! in fact, i received a journal today and your gold fish made out of rice/tissue paper was awesome!
Response: yay! i'm glad it made it's way over the pond :) I tried to send it out early, so it had plenty of travel time and you'd be able to sign up for the next round. Happy Swapping!
Response: oh yay! so glad you liked them...i loved them, but was worried they weren't Lime-y enough! i have no idea what I'll use any of my FQs for, but they'll be there, in my stash, when something arises!
Response: wow! that got to you fast :)
Response: i had seen them around pinterest and wanted to try it out :) it's cool that it looks 3d-ish!

Response: That is very sweet :) thanks!
Response: thanks for sending me a pic of the art you drew in my journal...it's awesome!!! (update: that journal has looong been missing, so i really am glad you sent a pic!)
Response: yay! the only ink pad i had was black, and when i put water color over the finger print well...they started to look less like fingerprints! anyway. i don't do ATCs very often, but I had fun with this one and i'm glad you liked it :)
Response: yay! glad you like them...i LOVED them, and was sad to see them go, so i guess i'll have to make some for me!! wait, i mean, i'll have to make a set for my child. :)
Response: wow! i can't believe how fast the package made it to you! and i'm soo glad he likes them...i had a little too much fun "researching" and painting, for sure :)
Response: ugh. most times the handmade envelopes do ok through the postal machines if the edges are sealed well! bummer. well, at least there were a ton of extra puzzles inside so if a couple were damaged or lost you had plenty of extra for your amusement :) next time i'm covering the entire envie in packing tape - less artistic but more durable!!
Response: i hope you can find one that you like!
Response: is it wrong that even though i wrote LA (for louisiana) on your PC, i read your comment as LA (like los angeles) and was confused...i didn't send a LA post card...hahahahahah.
Response: yay! glad it made it :) i was worried the thread holding the beads and sequins would get broken and they ALL would fall off...i knotted often!
Response: HAHA! that one was actually the truth! Summer, especially down here in AL, is soooo hot I hardly ever go outside - except to move quickly from AC to AC :)
Response: when that movie first came out, i looked EVERYWHERE for that song...and then was reminded of it when this swap started...thankfully, this time it was MUCH easier to find (what with amazon and itunes!) glad you liked it :o)
Response: I'm glad you like them! i had burned all the songs off the cds that i liked, it is someone else's turn to get some use out of them!!
Response: go on...give it a guess! hint: the answer is in my profile AND my other partner guessed correctly and the answer is in my ratings :o)
Response: i swear i listen to that mix or one with a couple extra songs on it, at least 4 times a week! sometimes it just goes on repeat for a few hours...i can't get enough, i love it!! i'm glad you're enjoying too :o) thanks for the heart!
Response: huh, i didn't know that about leonard cohen...i wikipedia'd it after reading your comment :o) thanks for correcting me!! i listened to a couple of cohen's versions last night...still looking for all those "extra" verses wiki talks about :o)
Response: you are right...since i am quite hard to offend :)
Response: i realize a whole cd is "personalized" since it's all my song selections, but it's really something to see a little bit of cover art to go along with it...then you can just flip through a stack and instantly recognize what you want!!
Response: Glad you liked the mix! i recieved the starbucks card in another swap and thought it might make it to you with some time left before it expired...sorry it didn't ;(
Response: i'm glad you REALLY like the chainmaille earrings :) i have a couple pairs that i love to wear myself! i'm glad you have some ideas for the "not my style" items as they are nice and i didn't want them to go to waste sitting in a drawer somewhere :)
Response: i LOVE that version of gin and juice, and i'm not a country fan...it's just that the lyrics are soo funny when they are sung country!
Response: haha, i wish i could take credit for it being MY idea for the lid....but it's just something i found online. visit this website for all the directions and more ideas!! http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=410418
Response: the record looking CDs came from BestBuy, they were on sale back in december (a spindle of 50 for $7!) The octopus drawing will soon be available as a printable stationary set in my new etsy store- RedWriteReturning - come check it out in a week or so (or you can add me as a favorite now!!). Thanks :o)
Response: in a word document, i create a text box on top of a picture i've cropped to be the size of cd envie, then i just print, cut and fold!
Response: thanks! i wasn't sure how you would feel about pink (some days i'm crazy about it, and other days it makes me crazy!!) so i put the silver necklace in there b/c everyone has something that goes with silver (and it's one of my favorite necklaces that i wear all the time!!)
Response: We have some friends that have now adopted 2 retired greyhounds, and aside from needing to be extra careful about them getting out (they will run until collapsing of exhaustion) they are the sweetest dogs ever...and yes, soo happy to have a home :)
Response: Cooper was such a sweet dog! he greeted us as soon as we walked through the door and rolled over for some belly rubs! Between the super friendly dog, and the very knowledgable wine pourer, (and delicious wine) it was our favorite winery on the peninsula!
Response: i never find cool shells on the beach...i do collect sea glass though, so at least i don't realize when i haven't found any good shells!!
Response: haha...that trip to the bahamas was sooo not a vacation (although it seems like it should have been). it was like slave labor in the sun and heat! i still had a good time and came home with a fantastic tan (horrible tan lines, too!)
Response: that's what i said the first time i tried it! and it's got captain in it, so...you know. yum, yum!
Response: i think you are my partner for one of the cd swaps i'm in right now, so it will be nice to see what music YOU like for a change!
Response: i also played the internet game to throw shoes at bush...it was most fun (for about 30 seconds!)
Response: i had NO idea what i was going to make, and i saw the bag of "snow" out on the table, and it suddenly hit me! i'm glad you liked it!
Response: haha...i MAY have read that somewhere! my dad took a cross country trip to the World's Fair in 1962 to see the Space Needle opening, and they stopped at the Grand Coulee Dam on the way back...40+ years later, he remembered how "cool" it was, so on our last XC adventure, i insisted we take the little side trip to go there...soo much concrete, it's really incredible. i wanted to take the tour, but i don't think it's open in the winter, nor the laser light show! next time :o)
Response: could you send some of that hot and humid this way? just to warm it up a bit here...nothing too serious :) and i'll share some of my cold and snow with you, if you'd like :o)
Response: haha, that's too funny. that should teach us all not to eat fries in the car!
Response: i'll share some of the excitement if you want to come over and help unpack.... :o)
Response: i'm glad you are enjoying everything!
Response: you know, i have NO idea when i first heard jem, but i love her...i think the music is great....glad you like the CD :)
Response: Darn! maybe next time!
Response: i got a couple different packs so i could give you a variety and so i could eat some myself...haha. i like them too ;)
Response: well, it was the first quote i thought of...and it has been my favorite for years! i try to think of it when i need motivation to go running :) which is ALWAYS!
Response: My grandparents live in w. yarmouth. I am sure that i have been t the Wessaguessett Beach, but for the life i me, i can't remember, since i was just a little kid...we didn't go to the beach in the summer much b/c it was always so crowded! i remember going for a looong walk when a ship (a tanker or container ship maybe) came up on shore, that was about 22-25 years ago!! maybe you remember that....
Response: My friend sent me a picture of her husband digging out of 14 inches in Woodinville! and they moved there (from maine)thinking they would avoid big snowstorms like that! hahah. i hope you are doing well and have power and no fallen trees :)
