Response: It was a random mom and pop halloween store purchase, but the brand is Martha Stewart. I looked on the michaels website to order more rolls (it was in a pack of 8 craft tapes) but no luck.
Response: Okra can be an acquired taste. That stuff you find in most stores is either slimy or old and gourdy! lol here in the south Okra is picked small and cooked quickly after, so much better that way.
Response: I am so glad you can appreciate them! lol
I love them too.
Response: Costumes are going great! Still playing with the pumpkin witch. I love that you know of Salado. So happy you enjoyed the bookmarks.
Response: Growing up that was an important one! We have several snakes that are in the red black white orange family and you can never be too careful with kids roaming the countryside. lol Glad you liked it.

Response: So glad you enjoyed it! I love the graphics on the popcorn bag. So fun. I too am a pop it on the stove just like my grandma used to kind of girl. I pop mine in good olive oil and like to add some pepper when I salt it. As much as I love butter, I also love the olive oil flavor. YES! That is LBJ with his first grandbaby from an old Life magazine article. I live in Salado where LBJ's grandfather lived. The Johnson's were regular visitors. Lady Bird's secretary was also a Salado girl. Liz Carpenter was quite the character.
Response: I LOVED Black Beauty...and Flicka and all those old school 50's animal books. My grandmother had a whole shelf full of them that had originally belonged to my Dad and Aunt. Even now I pick them up when I see them at estate sales. I don't remember the What Katy did books will have to check those out.
Response: YES! It was amazing. You are such a luv for sending them my way.
Response: That is funny! My G's were pretty limited!
Response: So glad it got there. I hope the other one eventually shows up.
Response: Update: thank you for getting back to me. This was a giveaway swap. The only requirement was a comment that was placed the day I signed up for the swap. I have told you this on two separate dates and you have yet to respond to my emails.

Response: I have been saving that one for someone special. I saw it years ago too. I was lucky enough to meet a few of the airmen when I was younger. It was amazing.
Response: Thanks! My editor seems to thank so too...he keeps using that pic. lol
Response: I LOVE it. We had a similar name game issue when I was a kid. I still had four sets of Great Grandparents and two Great Grandparents till I was 10. We had all kinds of wonky names to keep it straight. I am loving the 'regulars' lol
Response: Yeah it was stuck inside the envelope when I received it as well. I dusted some powder inside but with Texas humidity it must not have lasted long.
Response: No worries. We started our independence celebrations here on Monday too! My husband is Canadian so we just celebrate the whole week...lol
Response: No worries. I hope you had a great time.
Response: So glad you enjoyed. Picking them out is half the fun.

Response: I am so glad the two of you enjoyed it.
Response: I do not think it is irresponsible to expect the mail to run on time. I was actually traveling when these packages were mailed. This mail was dropped into a blue mail box in Austin, Texas with a daily pick up time listed. For it to be postmarked four days later is really not under my control. Bully for you for mailing out when partners are assigned, but I have a full time job and at times it takes me to other cities. I gathered up materials while on the road and insured I sent out by the deadline. I have no control over the actions of the USPS.
Response: I am so glad it went to someone who can appreciate it!
Response: aww so glad you liked it. My grandmothers maiden name was Cockrell so there is no shortage of chicken doodles around here. lol
Response: I am so glad it arrived safely this time!
Response: I am so glad you liked the stamps. I have been really trying to boost those stamp lovers out there. Found a huge stash of 70's era stamps! So cool.
Response: Frida has always been a fave of mine. Have you caught her self portrait at the Harry Ransom Center? They loan it out often so you have to kinda catch it there.
Response: Well I am not sure how that one slipped by. I usually start off with the swap info at the top of everything. Sorry that got past me. I hope it found you well.
Response: Tell her Happy Birthday from me!!
Response: That is awesome. I know Stamp Salado well. Do you know about her yearly 'garage sale'? Sign up for her newsletter and you will get info on it. They are always hosting cool classes in techniques.
Response: Who says our grandparents were prudes! lol
Response: I am so glad that it got there safely. It seemed like the best way to get something really special to you.
Response: I think this swap just cried out for the neon. My sender used neon as well.
Response: Perhaps you are mistaking the three page letter about my husband and his cats for something other than a letter? The half page on tiny paper is merely the swap name and my log in info page. Your extra is the artist trading card with the Jules Verne Cat themed quote and photograph I took of balloons floating away. In addition there are three pages of digitally created vintage book pages with excerpts from the 1879 edition of Letters from a Cat by Helen Hunt Jackson. Including a vintage cat illustration by Addie Ledyard from the same period. My style is clean, vintage and digitally created. I use professional graphic editing and publishing programs to create Tim Holtz style cards from vintage ephemera. I do not have any hard feelings, but I also do not agree that I did not meet every single requirement of the swap.
Response: Thank goodness you found it. My inserts got mixed up. She found the junk journal one in hers! Sorry for the mix up. I had 'helpers' stuffing envelopes with me and my granddaughter was more help than she knew. lol
Response: I am so glad you liked it. That page was in a bag of goodies another swap bot pal sent me. It came in the mail the day your name was selected so it was just meant to be.
Response: Thank you so much! It was my first attempt at a 'bag'. Happy to say I am now up to speed on how to label them.
Response: I am so glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the heart!
Response: That is strange. There should have been a kitty sticker valentine in there! Thanks for the heads up. So sorry it slipped out
Response: You are my 20th heart! Thank you and thank you to all those hearts before you.
Response: No problem. Message me anytime.
Response: Gotta love Texas. You can shoot Bigfoot without a hunting permit but not a Chupacabra!
