Comment: I love the ATCs you sent lovely! The whole envelope arrived with about a 1" tear through everything - must have gotten caught in a machine or something. But I've fixed them good as new! Thanks so much for sending them! By the way, the red-winged blackbird was the bird we used to gauge when spring had arrived instead of the robin. Early years in Indiana, we always saw them first in the cornfields, flitting from one stalk to the next, or maybe a fence post in between. Thanks again!

Comment: I wish that I could tell you adequately how special this swap was to me. I just don't have the words. I almost died in 2003. I had developed sepsis from crohns. I was unconscious for 2 days and when I woke up they told me that if I'd arrived 45 minutes later it would have been too late. I've always thought that the winter solstice was magical and I love snowmen. Your swap was magical. Thank you so much.
