Response: Yay, I'm glad you liked it! Homemade costumes are the best, it's lovely to hear yours did that too! Your Hershey kiss costume made me remember when my mom threw together a last-minute bee costume for my sister one year with a giant black and yellow striped tee shirt we stuffed and the antennae out of a wire hanger and craft goodies, haha! I was astonished how well it turned out!

Comment: How did I not know there was a tv show of Interview with the Vampire? So double thanks - one for the card and two for letting me know this exists and I must watch it. Comment: HAHA I got the same set of Halloween postcards so I was worried one was returned in the mail at first. Thank you. I also agree, the older and creepier the Halloween stuff, the better. They had creepy down in a way that wasn't just gorey that just sends shivers down my spine. We are moving just before Halloween, so not sure if we will do much more than enjoy trick or treaters for the first time in ages (we live too far out for that now).

Comment: I love this PC you sent of Chinese dragon and I'm guessing Maiden. It's beautiful ! Wherever did you find this postcard? I have bought so many from etsy. But have never seen anything like the PC you sent me. Is it like Anime? You asked me, Do you believe in any Mythical creatures? Yes, I do! When I was a kid and was in the wooded area by my parents house, I saw twinkling lights all around and I just know they were Fairies. It is said, here in Northern Pennsylvania there is this pig like Cyprid called the Squonk. But I have never seen it. They're also saying we have a Bigfoot also, ha!
Response: I think that PC was gifted to me, so I couldn't say unfortunately! And that's so cool about the cryptids in your area! I used to not believe in the Fae until they started popping up in my dreams and showing me certain things about them I hadn't known about and eventually threatening my dogs! I think they were upset I didn't believe in them, so I left them an apology offering and they stopped showing up after that.

Comment: Thank you for the pretty UFO postcard, love the colors on it! I have heard of the Phoenix Lights! That's so cool you've talked to people in the area who experienced it. I always think it's so interesting when there are accounts from military personnel who say they can't explain what they've seen. NC also has a unexplained appearance of lights, called Brown Mountain Lights purported to be something like UFOs or ghosts. Thank you for hosting this fun swap!

We liked it but it was too far from most friends so when daughter graduated HS and son was a sophomore we moved back to town. New Zealand sounds great. If you ever go one of the tigers born in our local zoo is now in the Aukland zoo and has had her first litter of which one is doing really good.

Comment: Thank you for the neat vintage look magic/levitation postcard! I enjoyed reading your message too - I did a double take when you mentioned the gateway experience! So cool to find someone else interested in these things! I love Robert Monroe's work! I've used the gateway tapes for years, although they've never led me to AP just helped with meditative states. My best results have come from simply meditating with binaural beats and by luck when taking naps. My handful of experiences have been rather short though, still hoping for a really long, mind-blowing experience. If you're ever interested in talking dreams or doing some dream-related swaps let me know! Thanks again! :)
Response: Yesss it's so great to find a fellow dreamer! I feel like I'm APing into space when I dream a lot, but that's another story. Binaural beat meditations are my next venture! I'm just so bad about making time for it haha. A friend had an AP experience listening to the Gateway tapes where they shot up out of their bed, but were still anchored at their feet. I'd love to be able to do it with intent!

Those christmases with all the cousins were pretty awesome! My grandmother had 10 kids and 7 of them used to live in Darwin. We had Christmas at her house - it was really noisy with all us kids running around in the sweltering heat - there was at least 20 kids! And the food was awesome - she was a great Chinese cook, born in Darwin and she had a Chinese cafe and all her kids bought food - we got the best mix of Chinese and Australian food!

Her owner has gone into care and won't be coming home and I'd love to take her in but it's not easy and she's not impressed with an annoying teenage Cat :) It's going to take time and patience.

Comment: I'm glad you and your friend have found a solution! I just hope it doesn't get as maddening as our situation was. I was able to get the wardrobe, just over $100, and it holds quite a lot! I have my close all folded up on cube fabric boxes (those things are awesome), and just a few hanging up. The bedding finally has a place to occupy when not used too. Currently I'm holding a raffle on my ko-fi page to put funds together to get the cutting table. Not much luck yet, but hopefully that will change soon. At least I'll be able to close commissions at the end of the month and focus on stocking up the shop for the holiday shopping season. I wish you the very best of luck! Response: Yesss, I feel the same. I think we were one of like 3 houses who even decorated on my street this year, even though the neighborhood is full of kids! It was so weird... Almost all the families drove off to other places, so we had very few trick or treaters. I'm hoping if I start going all out on the decorations the rest of my neighborhood will come around and join in! Also I made adult grab baqs for the parents. XD

Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed it! I bought some downloadable ephemera sets from Etsy, one of them being coffee themed. Which meant I printed and cut out most of the ephemera myself, and of course I wanted the cut-outs to look well done, so I definitely put some extra time into this one!

Response: Haha no worries, you wrote on the one I received! And oh man... the 3 I think of off the top of my head are all pretty different. One was getting cut off by a guy in a van as a kid walking to the grocery store, who was adamant that he should give me a ride, despite the grocery being literally on the other side of his van. Another was a scary date. And another was walking through a parking lot as an adult with a guy I very certainly didn't know trying to tell me we definitely met at a party (would NOT have happened) trying to give me a ride/get my phone number despite me being very uninterested... be careful out there!

It is amazing how quickly our fur babies (and kids) seem to age - sigh! Dang it, makes us older as well - LOL! My mom is one of nine children though, and half her brothers and sisters and therefore my aunts, uncles, and cousins, ended up out here. I visited a few times as a teen and decided it was much better than the cold! I love it here. And tell me about it! My oldest nephew is 13 already on top of it!

It's surprisingly durable too, I was worried it would be too fragile but his has lasted two years of hard use including traveling in his school bag. His fav game is Mario Maker and another called Arms, I think. Happy new Year! :):):)

It makes a great pic, though. I guess the actual shortest bridge is between Portugal and Spain -13 ft. shorter than the Zavikon Island bridge. But look what I learned in just a short time!
