I had a lot of fun making it, but I realized I needed to get better brushes for watercolors so I picked up some at HL while they were on sale last week. So if we swap again, hopefully I'll have improved!

Response: Thanks! It was dry embossed first, then wet embossed with clear embossing powder over the raised areas, which is SUPPOSED to act as a resist for the watercolors. Didn't work as well as I expected. LOL. But I'm glad you like it. :) And yes on the new things! Gosh, I've learned a ton here.

Response: I did a lot of trial runs, with different stamps. It's not an easy technique to do, because of the wood or acrylic block behind the stamp.

Response: Simplicity is my default setting. I sometimes struggle with paper crafting swaps that call for a lot of layers and collage, because I just like open spaces on which your eye can rest. :)

Response: The sand was a paint chip. The water was various ink colors sponged on, and with liquid glass over top. The froth was gesso. I'm glad you like it!
