Response: Thank you, I got that idea from a fellow swapper, and thought is was real neat.
Response: I must have forgot to add it right above the address, and under the swap name.I am so sorry.
Response: We all have different tastes. I a happy you liked it. And we got 8 inches of snow last week, and most melted the next day, but the huge piles in parking lots.
Response: Thank you. I think as pertty as the mountains are, they sure do not need to ruing a perfectly good postcard with a person skiing or snow boarding, or any other silly things us humans do.
Response: i do not know what i sent, but pm me and describe it and i will see what i can do.
Response: you got all of them!
Response: you are welcome, how are you gonna use that 'ducky' in your journal, can you imagine something better?
Response: You are welcome. I have so many cards and I am trying to simplify my life, so this swap is perfect for that!
Response: No, I forgot to ask hubby to get the bread.
Response: LOL, I probably was.
Response: when I write too much, my brain goes on frazzle, soI have to change to make it un frazzle.
Response: The second was sent the following day, it is in an envelope. So you get two cards instead of one, since I sent the first card naked.
Response: I am sorry, it did not have the swap name.
Response: A visit with sis? Hey that sounds like fun!
Response: These are ones I bought too many of. Not mine for sure, so sorry I led you t believe that.
Response: I did send it, I hope soon it arrives. We have PMd about the rest f solving this situation. This one was given the day a one can be given, not even 24 hours later than two weeks after the send by date.
Response: Thank you, I usually do not respond to my fives, but your words are balm to a sorely tired and down hearted soul.
Response: HUH? I am queen of late ratings, not on purpose, but because of limitations, so rating me late is not a big deal at all.
Response: Now how awesome is that. See PM
Response: LOL, I noticed that I hardly recognized most songs sent to me too.
Oh who wants to get old, but then most of the songs I mentioned are ones I would never want to miss. I am a romantic so, Honey, Rocky and many more are ones I love and have loved.
Response: I commented because I have discoverer them, because theya re the few books that uphold Bible morals and it is a surprise that someone else reads them also.
Response: You are welcome, I love making happy monsters, so when I saw I needed to make the second one, it was not a hardship, in fact, it gave me the pepsi idea and the Old Farmer picture idea too.
Response: I did send that out and I can send another. I will also unblock you somehow you must be blocked.
Response: I did go in and saw the postmark being stamped on all of them. The clerk was pitching a fit, but I insisted.
Response: Please read the swap requirements. There is absolutely nothing about not folding to send the envelopes out.
I do not join swaps that say no folding, because the shipping charge goes way up when I have to lay them straight and use a much larger envelope top send.
Response: Oh my thank you so very much. I was so upset. Thank you and thank you.
Response: Those are wall decorations from the dollar stores. Look in the crafts section, if they still have them, they will be there.
Response: My son taught me to hold it up to my noise and look at it pulling it away slowly and not stop looking until I see the picture. It takes a few seconds to finally see it. But I did it!
Response: thank you, I try to sign them all sometimes I forget like silly bird
Response: Let me know if you are stationed here please.
Response: if the swap had said the card needed to be mainly pink then I would have sent a totally different card. : "as long at it shows pink in the subject matter somewhere in the postcard!" The swap said that something pink needed to be on the card. It was some pink flowers. There was no mention of the main color of the card being pink. I knew that the card passed the swaps description.
Response: You are welcome human like me so all is fine.
Response: I love doing letter postcards. they can be a blast
Response: Don't worry about that. I am a slow rater because of my situation, so I would never judge or hassle someone for rating me slow.
Response: Oh thank goodness you finally got it after all the Post office games!
Response: Thats a good one. It would probably go over my head.
Response: I know it is bad, I try and try and it seems I rarely get it looking good. I am the one that should be sorry.
Response: you are welcome, did you chose its color yet?
Response: I am so sorry. I hate it when I do that, especially because I know how hard it is to figure out who and what. I get about one a month.
Response: It was something like: hello from Colorado,
I can rhyme some of the time. Or something corny like that, so you are not missing much.
Response: Thank you so much.
Response: Oh I love them, we grew up hiking in the mountains near Salida and always were seeing old ghost towns, the old buildings make for interesting sights.
Response: We are fine, some friends had smoke damage, thank you for caring
Response: I intended for you to be impressed, well that was the only I word I could think of.
Response: That is odd, they were sent ther same day from the PO. I guess you are right, I wonder hot it liked it's trip.
Response: You are welcome. I can think up goofy things quickly, serious though takes weeks.
Response: Yes they are selling most if not all property in the city and moving upstate. It is because of the uncertainty of the times, and that anything can happen at any time in the city and they feel the workers need to be as safe as they possibly can be.
Many of them saw 9/11 happen out the windows of where they were working and have PSTD issues from that, which is to be expected for anyone that had to see it is person any where in the city.
Response: I did resend, you should get it by now or any day now. The holiday mail must have messed up the second set.
I have sent second set , three sets now. I hope this one gets to you. I did take photos of me mailing the third set if you need them.
Response: I love asparagus but not chocolate. I know I am rare but that is the way my tastes go.
Response: That is the correct one. I have /had three brothers and still have one sister.
Response: That is so sweet, thank you for sharing that with me!
Response: You are welcome. I had fun finding and playing this swap
Response: OOPs. I am so happy it made it to you. I would have had to do a resnd. Smart PO you have.
Response: That is Ok, I never worry too much, unless what I send goes missing.
Response: I think that some of the cards I send would be awesome to know about 30 to 100 years they are still around and read by a collector....... I know once in a while I will make a 'postal history' bunch of cards. making a similar statement about a fact of life. .......Like this summer was the hottest on record, so for a week or so, every card I sent had that on it. .....
Response: I do not know, I got the box empty from the store to use for holding my crochet hooks, that was a huge flop. I was about ready to toss it is the garbage and the swap came up so I rescued enough to make a few PCs.
Response: You are welcome, I like cheese and cheesy cards LOL
Response: I am happy we do not live where there is high humidity. I love the heat, but not the humidity.
Response: How cool is that!
Response: Yes and I have not been there yet, I decided the crowds were not worth it.
Response: I do not remember.
Response: True, I have not read PMs been busy and have had trouble with postal theft. I have resent.
I have resent and hope my partner gets it within a few days.
My fault for being busy and ignoring PMs.
Response: I am so sorry, my handwriting is bad, I know.
It is my hands that dry out when I use a lot of paint chips.
Response: That is great, if i get to send to you,
i know which ones already!
Response: I may be partial, but I think so.
Response: It depends where you will be here.
West, East, or mountains?
I can say mountains are a must, but please take note: be prepared to have a hard time breathing. Remember to leave it cleaner than getting there, I do, and it irks me that some many others do not even try. If you are on the Western Slope I don't know that much.
Eastern part of Colorado, well what parts of that LOL?
Denver, oh man it is over rated and over grown. Colorado Springs, Two *must eats* both low cost but the best in the world. **Charlies Pit Bar B que** on Filmore street, easy to get to right off the freeway a mile or three. Take Filmore exit off of I-25 and go east.
**La Casita**. Again easy to get to, and there are a few, but this one is the easiest to drive to and the one we go to most. I-25/Cimarron Cimarron/8th . Take I25 to the Cimmaron exit go west it is the first light take a left, ({south} and get in right lane immediately) In fact get in the outer left turn lane at that light, so you will not have to get over.
Response: No problem. I should have explained it better.
Response: You are most welcome. I almost did not join, but I really wanted to sew something and I usually do it all by hand no machine.
I make more mistakes than I did already EEEK!
Response: Cool, I was hoping you would like it.
Response: I started a post in the forums about a victim, and how I wish all friends and family would treat them.
When it is recent, it bites and there is so much to it.
Response: You are welcome. It seemed that day was on going and on going and then one thing after another.
And then getting the swaps out keeps me focused, as much as that can happen.
Response: Isn't that cool.
Response: I am so sorry for that. How unkind of the PO.
Response: I am so sorry about that. I wish that the PO did not have to take up so much of the card. The top and right hand corner is not enough, now they need the bottom also. LOL
Response: You are a hoot! I bet life around you is fun!
Response: I am so sorry about that.
I have a funny PO and they can be picky.
It used to go b y weight now thay go by weight, shape, size color blood line, when ti was potty trained, well you get my drift about the PO.
Response: How cool that is,m when did you live here?
I wish I knew, I would have sent a postcard of downtown as it was in the past.
Response: I am going to check out both sites soon. You should see my booked marked sites of late.
I have determined to spend about 20 minutes per site. If I need more time, then I will just save the link. If I do not, then I will delete those links.
I am searching for one postcard, or all the ones they made of this. It is a hospital that was no longer used as one, but the residents did not want the building torn down for historical reasons. Jehovah's' Witnesses bought the property and building and saved the building. There were postcards made of this and I desire strongly for one.
Is is in Cook county or something like that.
Fawn
Response: Thank you for sharing that.
